Despite some of the reviews this was a fair purchase
It does what it's supposed to do, I've had no problems with it. As long as you put your paint bottles touching the centre of the shaker mechanism, it seems to lose no power. Compared to other Vortex mixers that I've seen on social media this is a fair priced piece of kit that does the job.

Excellent but a little temperamental.
I got this as an old shoulder injury prevents me really being able to shake paints up well for my miniatures. It works great, mixes quickly and thoroughly. I'd definitely recommend having agitators in your pots though. One negative, is the switch that activates when you press down seems a little finicky. On a lot of occasions the device won't actually stop after I remove the pot. I have to lift it slightly off the table and that settles it down. It's not a deal breaker for me as it still does everything I need, but it's not how it's supposed to operate. I'll likely save up for one of the pricier ones in the future, but for now this fits my needs perfectly.

Fantastic and great for citadel paints
Been building up my paints and miniatures for a while and found some of the paints need a lot of shaking to get the best out of them (lime green for example). This product is fantastic in mixing the paints to a good consistency. Would highly recommend. Pretty small and not very noisy.

Failed after less than 2 months of (minimal!) use!!
Absolute rubbish! After less than 2 months of use (and I haven't even used it much in that time!) my shaker will not work. You have to get the paint in *exactly* the right place now, but even then, half the time it'll light up and then do nothing anyway, or it'll give a half second shake and refuse to work again! When I first got it, it was great, mixed up any (new) Citadel paints that had separated, especially contrasts and metallics, now? The light flickers a bit and it dies again.Certainly not what I was expecting after less than 2 months of minimal use!!I can't even return it as the "return window" was only a month after purchase! After trying it again and again, it has now failed completely.Do yourself a favour, avoid this like the plague and go for a decent branded mixer or a even pack of decent mixing balls!

Great idea, cheap product.
A really useful item and it made shaking my paints so much easier. It works great on my Army Painter bottles. Without sounding too cliche, but its made in China so, naturally it broke after 12 months. I will be investing in another, better made brand as its a game changer.

Superb workhorse
Just had this and been playing with it for a good hour non stop, I have about 400+ citadel and other branded miniature paints and most have been sat untouched for ages but the photos are b4 and after about 20 seconds on the machine. Best thing iv ever bought for model painting. Definitely recommend. It is made if cheap plastic and rubber mind u but it does what it was bought for perfectly. Only time will tell how it lasts compared to a more expensive model.

It mixes our model paint quickly.
Stick a small pot of paint on top and press down and the vibration does the rest. Paint gets mixed quickly and thoroughly.Probably lots of things you could push down on top for similar effect but immediately we're into weird territory so we'll leave it there. Too many strange people about, don't want to encourage them.

2 year work horse
Has been great addition for my painting set up and definitely saves on some arm strain! It has lasted just over 2 years for me with what I'd call occasionally use but has now given up the ghost. Absolutely worked as intended till then though and whilst a little noisy the suction cups add stability and its small and portable enough to move around as needed whilst certainly doing what it was suppossed to!
