This is AMAZING in my Hoover FloorMate! The shine!!
I have tried just about every floor cleaner and and mop for my hardwood floor. We have light colored floors throughout our house and have struggled to clean them. I’ve tried Bona, Swiffer, Shark Steam and Scrub you name it, they never satisfied me until PolyCare. Finally my floors are SHINY and CLEAN! They look NEW! I am amazed at how much difference this made. If you’re hesitating because of the price - don’t. It’s so worth it. It’s so easy to use and there’s no residue left on the floor. Just a shining clean floor.

I use this differently than instructions recommend. First
I use this differently than instructions recommend. First, I thoroughly sweep the floor using a Scotch-Brite Microfiber Hardwood floor mop (also purchased on Amazon). The pads on that mop are 16 inches wide, washable, and re-usable. They can also be used dry or wet. If you buy the mop, I recommend purchasing at least 1 or 2 of the re-usable pads as extras. They can be placed in the washer and dryer after use. Upon completion of the dry sweeping, I switch to a clean, replacement pad for mopping. It seemed to me that mixing the PolyCare into a pail for general application will result in a lot of the unused cleaner being poured down the drain when the mopping is complete. So, I mixed the cleaner with water, according to directions, into a plastic gallon jug. I then fill a 32-ounce plastic spray bottle - one that has a spray trigger - using the pre-mixed solution in the gallon jug. The remaining solution in the gallon jug is kept underneath my kitchen sink. Over the past year, I've used just a few ounces of the Poly Care concentrate listed here to produce the approximate 2 gallons of water-based floor cleaning solution applied as described herein. Using the spray bottle, I apply a portion of the solution to a manageable portion of the floor and go over it with the Scotch-Brite Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop. The 32-ounce spray bottle and the mop are lightweight, so they are easily handled simultaneously. The mop head will soak up the solution so you don’t have to apply nearly as much as you might think and the microfiber traps any dirt. I've followed this procedure for about one-year, mopping every two weeks to monthly depending on the location of the flooring. We have hardwood throughout the house but the den gets more traffic than the bedrooms and requires more frequent cleaning. This method is very trouble free and can be accomplished in a snap, so if you need to clean more often, it's a very hassle-free approach. Based on my experience, the results are outstanding. The floors are clean and shine like the day they were installed. We have no pets but do have 5 young grandchildren that are here several times each week.

Great product, very satisfied
I have been using PolyCare to clean my hardwood floors for years now and I've been very satisfied. I thought I would give a try to their Stone and Tile cleaner. I bought this hoping it would work, and I am very happy with it. It works wonderfully on porcelain tile; no streaking and leaves the floor clean. Very happy I found this product: it is concentrated so it’s very cost-effective. I highly recommend it. It was properly packaged and shipped quickly.

POLY CARE, Concentrate. A quality product.
Used this for many years. I like the full strength and only use a fourth of a cup. I have used it on Kitchen cabinets 20+ years. And now on wood floors. It leaves surfaces clean and shinny with no streaks, or sticky residue. Last a long time.

Better than DIY, worth the money, will last a long time
Works with my Bona mop. The refillable chamber on the Bona holds 32 oz. of liquid. So that's 32 oz./4c. of water and you only need a tablespoon (equal to a capful) of the Polycare. This bottle is going to last me forever, so I don't regret buying it at all. I've tried a few DIY recipes for my poly-finished floors and they have not been as good as this. I don't know what makes this so magical, but my floors are super clean and shiny, and the solution comes out smoothly (all DIY things I've tried have caused problems of one kind or another). I can't say enough about this product, I just love it.

Great product and even the price point had gone up, it does a great job and lasts a long time. A small amount in a gallon of water cleans my hardwood floors beautifully. Can also be used to clean kitchen wood cabinets….. recommended by my hardwood floor installer !

I started using Polycare 25 years ago by putting a capful in a bucket of water and mopping my floors. So when I returned to a house with hardwood floors, this is the product I wanted. Otherwise, it is hard to find a product that is not a spray-on, wipe-off with microfibre mop (although you can also use Polycare this way, according to instructions on the label). It cleans without streaking and has a pleasant smell. This is the only place I could find it. Shipping to Canada made it a little expensive, but it will last a very long time and is well worth it to me.
