Roly Poly Farm Vivarium/Terrarium by Pocket Pets (Assorted Colors) Rolies Sold Separately.

I loved this farm. It is easy to take care of. The Chia seeds grow very quickly so you don't have to worry about them going hungry and you can give them fruits. All of the roly polys were alive when I got the except one but it also came with extra bugs. There was even small babies that came in the package. It is so fun to see the bugs climb up the chia. The roly polys are very cute and fun to play with. I absolutely loved this!!! It is the best thing that I have ever bought.

My son absolutely loves his new roly poky farm that he got for his birthday! He was so excited to receive the live rolies in the mail today! They are all healthy and alive and moving around in the cups and they were packaged so well. The instructions for the farm are very easy and I am very impressed with how minimal the maintenance is for this little ecosystem. Thank you so much to Hanna and her son for sharing your love of these fascinating bugs with us! We plan to be loyal customers.

My son had a Cub Scout activity to build a terrarium and to keep insects for a month so this satisfied both activities. Which was a plus. They came quick, alive with extras. They are interesting creatures and I loved them as a kid. I enjoy watching them walk around the terrarium. The complaints I have are: 1) The “free” Pillbugs it claims your get aren’t actually free. You have to mail back a card to get refunded back but you’re also having to pay $10 for shipping unless you spend $35 of the site - so really you’re not saving any money. 2) You aren’t allowed to pick you color, so my son ended up with a pink container. I ended up going out and buying a different one. Imagine my 10 year old showing off his terrarium to a bunch of other boys with a pink top. Not fun! 3) You get such a small amount of soil with the lot it barely filled the bottom of the carrier. So again, had to go out and buy more soil. 4) the traditional Rollie Pollies we are use to when we were kids, aren’t the “free” ones they give you. There are common pillbugs that don’t roll up into balls. The Rollies I was use to cost extra. I actually did research around the types they offered on their site and found this out myself. They don’t tell you this upfront. 5) After all the above, it’s hard to gift this to someone appropriately without warning them they will have to pay more to set it up or you set it all up for them and fork over the money ahead of time.

My daughter is a poly lover. She was so excited to receive this for her birthday (2nd of August). It didn't come with the roly polys. Had to go on a website to request them. Went in with my request and it wouldn't work, charging me anyways. Then tried to contact them and no answer back on how to get my "free" roly polys. I went ahead and told her we would just grow the seed and find some rolys outside for her to put in her new terrarium, not a single seed has grown, and it's been over a month, next to a window and under a grow light.

My 4 year old has become SO obsessed with roly polys lately. I needed something to put them in and this was perfect! We were so excited to watch the chias grow! Truly so fun. My daughter loves it and her rolys are doing great! Thank you for making it a little easier on parents to make our kids smile. :)

This product came just as it was shown. It was easy to set up and the chia grass grew super fast. We then went on to order the roly poly bugs. We got orange smoothies and they are cute as a button. They were shipped super fast after ordering. Everybody arrived alive despite a post office delay. There were definitely more than 10 included as well. My 6 year old is in love with this set and her roly poly friends.

Our roly polies have not arrived yet, but I don't feel like this is a good value for what we are getting. It was 20 bucks for the container, sponge for seeds, seeds, soil, and dropper for watering. It seems like you will get $10 roly polies for free with a $10 reimbursement voucher, but the shipping is $10. I don't feel like this is worth $30. It feels a bit like a scam since they now have my mailing address from sending the voucher...

I am returning this item; it is my fault that I relied on the photo and not reading the dimensions. This terrarium size is very underwhelming and much smaller than anticipated. It was a gift for my daughter, who ACTUALLY wants a pet tarantula (but I hope will be placated by pet rollie pollies) as she is fascinated by the terrarium enclosures I will look for something larger. Love the pocket pet IDEA and I know she will be thrilled with the other small pocket carrying case I purchased from this company. Just be aware this is smaller than it appears in the photo.
