I love this feeder.
This is an amazing feeder, especially for the price. I bought another feeder before this one that was $80 and I hated it, the buttons were hard to function, the instructions were unclear, and I didn’t want to deal with customer service so I just returned it. After doing so much research on which could be the best for my cat I came across this one. It was like half the price of the other one and it had good reviews. I also looked online and people recommended this feeder so I went ahead and bought it. It arrived quickly. It was so easy to assemble and clean and the instructions were so straightforward and everything worked perfectly and smoothly. I truly believe for the price this is 100000% worth it.Here’s a few things that I wish it had though, I wish it would tell you how many ounces are in a portion, which I believe it’s about .5oz a portion so I give 4 portions for my cat for 1/4 a cup. (Not too big of a deal breaker since this was very easy to figure out)I wish it had the thing on top where you could add that desiccant bags, but so far the food seems good still.I wish it had a stand at the bottom so it wasn’t so low but I just put a bunch of books under it to make it higher, you can also use a box!So it seems like all the things I wish it had were easily fixable. Save yourself the stress and get this one, the review I found online about this product had this one for years and they said it works perfectly still. I’ve had this for a few months now and I love it and I just love knowing my cat will have the food she needs and won’t be starving, especially when I’m so busy with work.

Worth it. Cat loved it.
Works great and exactly how it should. Took a second for my cat to get use to it, but after that he began to LOVE it.

My lengthy review after two years of use.
I've had two of these bad boys since August 2022 (originally for a pair of cats with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), now for a set of kittens who just turned one and switched to adult food), so I feel qualified to give an accurate review. I'm also seeing some people leaving negative feedback when it seems to me they're not following instructions. The instructions are pretty simple but if you overlooked a step that could pose problems, so I'm attaching the quick guide for current owners and those looking to purchase.Features I like:-Up to nine settings for food dispersal and max four meals. I prefer to feed my babies more often with smaller portions, so I use all four meals and currently have it set to portion three, which is just over two tablespoons with the food I use. That's roughly half a cup of food coming out of each dispenser per day, which fits their current dietary needs. For my CH kitties I was only feeding twice a day and adjusting the portions as needed for their weight.-This dispenser is an excellent option if your baby needs to lose a little weight or if your chonk needs to lose a lot of weight. This can help you do that slowly and safely, decreasing the portions sizes and/or meals over time, so the results are effective.-The battery backup is very helpful in case of a power outage. While I was nervous at first, I left my CH babies home alone for a weekend and trusted this thing would work properly. It did and now I do it whenever I need to leave for a couple days. I never had an issue doing this and now I don't worry at all. If the power goes out for any reason, or if the cord accidentally gets unplugged, the battery takes over.-I work night shift and sleep during the day, but other days I'm away all day then sleeping at night. This dispenser ensures my babies always have consistent meals, regardless of my schedule.Things I don't like so much:-The inside part is not the easiest to clean. The bottom comes off easily, so does the lid, which makes those very easy to clean. The inside however, you can't really access the spinning mechanism very well so it's challenging to wipe out. I use a Qtip and piece of paper towel to reach in there as best as I can and I haven't had any majors issues doing that (no smells, rotting food, or bugs). So not a huge problem, but not ideal.-As others have mentioned, one of my dispensers has a timing issue like a slow clock so it slowly starts getting behind the other. I will set them at the exact same time but it never fails, the one faulty dispenser instantly is one minute behind. Every once in a while I will have to reset the time to match the other because it will start getting further behind, but it still doesn't resolve the one minute behind issue. If you only have one, this isn't a huge issue. If you have multiple and one goes off and the other is delayed, you'll have the fastest cat eating their food and possibly be done by the time the second goes off and they might eat the other cat's food also (this was briefly a problem for us but I just increased the portion in delayed dispenser to make sure there was still food left for slow kitty).Neutral facts:-My cats figured out when the feeder is about to go off and they wait by the machine. My little piglet girl got to the point she was waiting by the feeder an hour ahead of time lol. Girl was on a diet though so I don't blame her.-Sometimes the fastest cat will eat the other's food so it's difficult to tell how much each had, but that's only a concern if your cats need a very specific amount of food. It's also an issue with food bowls in general so it's nothing really to do with the dispenser.-When I set it up for my kittens my nine year old CH cat (Baxter) got really excited thinking he'd be using it again, so I know cats love it. It made me sad though because Baxter is on senior food and has to be fed separately because one of the kittens always eats Baxter's food before he can get to it. Having CH, Baxter isn't strong enough to push him away, so I have to feed him in a separate room, usually twice (sometimes thrice) a day, with the door shut so the other cats can't get in. I usually stay in there with him, so feeding him in a bowl just makes more sense now for his needs. His really wants his dispenser back tho :(-Baxter also would get so excited he'd try to knock off the lid (which he couldn't), but then he'd fall into the dispenser and knock it over. Sometimes the lid would pop off and I'd end up with a giant mess. His sister with CH never did this, nor have I seen the kittens do it, but just letting people know it's a possibility depending on your cat.I would definitely purchase these again, though keeping an eye out for the timing issue. It's not a big enough deterrent to stop me from loving them, but I did take one star down for that and the cleaning issue. Definitely recommend though!

Great Feeder! Love the voice call!
I ordered this without realizing it was not wifi controlled, so I have to order another one because my cat's food is in a cabinet to keep the dog out. But if your feeder will be out so you can see it, and no need for remote monitoring, it appears to be awesome so far.You DEFINITELY need to put in the backup batteries. With an electric flash, the whole thing resets to zeros and your cat won't get fed.PROS... I love the voice recording for each feeding. It's loud enough that she can hear it from another room.... Easy enough to set the number of meals and portions, with the instructions. If I was keeping it, I would probably tape a quick description of instructions to the top.... So far, it doesn't seem to get clogged. The dispenser is very smooth and dispenses all portions at the same time. I have another one that beeps for each portion.... The container is dark, but you can see the food level.... The top snaps into place with two tabs, so my cat can't get into it. There are some smart kitties out there that might figure out how to press the tabs and get in it.CONS - these are very minor!... This feeder does not have the metal bowl insert that many of them have for easy cleaning. But the tray is easy enough to remove.... The setup is definitely easy enough, except it's not exactly intuitive, so keep your instructions handy.... The container is dark, so I have to lean down to see the food level.... Unlike most other feeders, it doesn't have a place for the desiccant packets to help reduce moisture. But that's on the bottom of my priorities.... It's not wifi. This is the only reason I am returning it and it's not a product fault, but a preference.
