## Description

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Casein provides 24g of protein per serving from 100% micellar casein, plus 9g of naturally occurring essential amino acids (EAAs). Protein and EAAs help support muscle recovery and maintenance, while micellar casein digests more slowly than whey protein, making it a convenient protein option for nighttime and between meals. Each serving is an excellent source of magnesium and zinc, providing 85mg of magnesium and 11mg of zinc. With 0.5–1g of fat and 1–2g of sugar per serving, it can fit into a variety of daily nutrition goals. Mix one scoop (33–34g) with 8–14 fl oz of cold water, milk, or another beverage. Stir, shake, or blend until dissolved. Enjoy 30–60 minutes before bed or anytime to help increase your daily protein intake as part of a balanced diet and exercise program.

## Features

- NIGHTTIME & BETWEEN-MEAL RECOVERY - 24g of premium micellar casein protein per serving to support muscle recovery during nighttime and between meals. Its slow-digesting protein provides a convenient protein option when you go longer periods without food, such as during sleep.
- 100% MICELLAR CASEIN - Every gram of protein comes from micellar casein, a milk-derived protein that digests more slowly than whey. Ideal for anyone looking to add quality, slow-digesting protein to their daily nutrition and exercise routine.
- ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS - 9g of naturally occurring essential amino acids (EAAs) per serving to support muscle recovery and help you get more from your protein intake.
- MAGNESIUM & ZINC - An excellent source of magnesium and zinc, with 85mg of magnesium and 11mg of zinc per serving. A convenient way to add these important nutrients alongside your daily protein intake.
- ANYTIME PROTEIN - A great choice 30–60 minutes before bed or anytime you want to boost your protein intake, including between meals. Suitable for fitness enthusiasts and athletes at every level as part of a balanced diet and exercise program.
- EASY MIXING, SATISFYING TEXTURE - Enjoy a satisfying, creamy texture with easy mixing using only a glass and spoon. Mix one scoop with 8–14 fl oz of cold water, milk, or your favorite beverage; use less liquid for a thicker shake or more for a thinner consistency.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: why this product wont dissolve in milk? i shake it over 30 second and i can still taste the powder so thick**
A: There’s your problem, shake for 45 seconds. You’re leaving all those reps on the table. Remember, explosive out but a controlled return. 12 shake reps should take you 45 seconds if you’re doing it right. And breath. Contract. Feel the muscles. Quit leaving those reps on the table.

**Q: does this have gluten in it**
A: Although it maybe doesn't have gluten, people with gluten sensitivities or Celiac Disease should avoid the enzyme, Casein. I have Celiac Disease and this would "kill" me!

**Q: My container did not have a scoop in it. How much powder to I use for a shake?**
A: It's approximately a 1/4 of a cup (not exactly), but I'd bet there's a scoop in the bottom of the container somewhere, they sometimes sink to the bottom of the container... It's placed in these containers by a computer system, not a person so chances of a mistake are minimal.

**Q: Does anyone know if this is 100% Micellar?**
A: No, it has calcium caseinate as the second protein source.
