Too large for a smaller pan but it works great and holds larger pieces of chicken easily. Easy to clean.

OXO products are great quality. I learned the difference between nylon and silicone. I prefer silicone. I needed a new turner so I chose this one. The quality is great! For me, the large size is bigger than I need. It is quite large in my utensil drawer. If you want a large turner for big omelets or fillets of fish, I think this will be perfect.

Works

I used this omelet turner from OXO a few times so far and I really like the design. This is a larger style turner but the results are great. With the rounded edges and angled body you can easily seperate the cooked egg edges from the pan. If you were to have a square ended turner you would have to be careful not to tear into the omelet while separating the edges from the pan. The silicone material is perfect for using at higher temperatures than plastic or nylon turners as well as being more flexible. This turner cleans up great and will last. OXO makes some of the highest rated products on Amazon. If you make a lot of eggs, especially omelettes or even crepes this is definitely a great turner to buy.

Good quality as expected from OXO brand, but the head of the spatula is too long and too flexible. Thickness is perfect. It’s giant, and I was looking for a normal size spatula with more support. Quality is great.

The spatula makes folding the omelette as well as getting it out of the pan much easier, less awkward. it should be good for pancakes too but haven’t tried it on those yet. We have a lot of OXO kitchen tools, have had them for years, and to the best of my recollection haven’t had to replace one or been disappointed in the way any of them function. I’ve heard others remark about what they believe is an above average price tag, but then will end up having to replace their less expensive item several times while whatever same OXO utensil we have is still working fine and even looks almost as good as it did when we bought it.
