Tchoupi's books are ideal for French speaking babies 1 to 4 yrs of age. The stories are all very easy to relate to and explain. The drawings are simple but not simplistic, with bright attractive colors. The lessons are always well intentioned and never judgemental.As for the books themselves, please note they are not board books but we love the glossy, impossible to tear pages that make this serie a perfect "in-between baby and grown-up" choice.This particular story is one of my daughter's favourites, with Tchoupi spending a very busy first day at school (could be preschool or even day care; they nap at mid-day).Highly recommended! (You don't need to be fluent in French to perfectly understand and describe the story from the pictures).Cette histoire est l'une des preferees de ma fille de 20 mois (malgre l'etrange titre qui devrait surement etre "Tchoupi entre a l'ecole" et non "rentre").Maman reveille Tchoupi puis le conduit a l'ecole. Malgre un peu d'aprehension, Tchoupi retrouve son ami Pilou et passe une tres bonne journee, qui comprend de la peinture, des jeux dehors, de la musique et une sieste. Papa vient chercher Tchoupi a la fin de la journee.Ma fille adore ce livre qui lui explique exactement sa journee a la maternelle. Elle aime beaucoup Tchoupi en general mais ce volume en particulier offre beaucoup de choses a decrire dans les dessins et l'histoire elle-meme. On peut facilement faire durer l'histoire en detaillant plus ou moins les images. En plus, il y a des frites a la cantine le midi!!!Vivement recommande!

Our son loves this book and it seems to have really helped him with starting preschool. They go through a day and it's dead on for same activities he does. He asks to read this most nights.

great quality books that have protected pages so they are not easily torn/ripped! very good color and short story!! so happy to have the opportunity to get these in the USA now

This is a great book. i read it to my daughter every night if she requests. The language is at a very good level for a native french speaker.

Vraiment très bien fait. Ma petite fille de 2ans est captivée par ces petits livres.

This is a fantastic book for developing your French reading skills as a parent and is relevant to a young child starting school or who is already in school. My 3 and 5 year olds like it a lot.
