Great For Square-Cutting Utility Poles
I use old utility poles to make shooting ranges and need to make square cuts, so the 4' poles I cut can stand up straight. I measure, make two marks, and draw squared lines connecting the marks with this flexible ruler. I then use a circular saw on the line and cut the remaining center core with a hand saw. This thing fit my needs perfectly. All of my poles come out perfect.

contoured horse's back
I used this to help determine the shape of my horse's back and the shape of the saddle to help me determine my saddle fit. It did exactly as I needed. Accuracy got 4 stars as it is so stiff it was hard to shape. A fine balance between being too stiff and not stiff enough, I would imagine. I was able to change the saddle pad support to make him more comfortable. So, a win!

Saddle buyer's dream!
In the equestrian world this item is a lifesaver for saddle fitting / measuring! It's just flexible enough to mold perfectly but firm enough that it doesn't fall out of place! 10/10 - I recommend this to everyone I know who is looking to buy a saddle so they can get a correct fit!

Challenging to use
For my needs, this ruler didn’t do the trick. I needed it to follow a curve on a piece of furniture so I could transfer the line that was already on one side to the other side. Attempting to bend the ruler to mimic the curve was very difficult as the ruler didn’t hold the shape. Forget about the transfer. If used for on paper or another conventional purpose it could be a good tool. For use in duplication, not so much.

low quality
preset wrinkles because of packaging caused difficulty drawing smooth lines.
