We have not only hard water where we live but a town that floods the tanks with chlorine. We have a huge rust and debris problem on top of all of that. These little filters are such a blessing, you can smell the chlorine when you flush the toilet but not when you are taking a shower. We could survive without them but boy would we itch.

Wow, this stopped me from sneezing. Our water is hard here and this seems to clean out the junk in the pipes. It also seems to stop me from sneezing cause it cleans out the junk. Highly recommend this filter.
