MAXVIEW Face Shield

I have been wearing this for various jobs - dismantling an old shed involving quite a but of pry-bar use, hammering , splintering wood and a rotary saw. I have also been wire-brushing old steel wheels (with power tools). It has been excellent. it is comfortable, fits firmly if you adjust the ratchet, and it has not fogged up for me even once - and I am a heavy breather. I have used other companies' face shields before, for strimming and the like, and this one is the best I have ever used. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Prompt delivery. Used it straight from the box. Thank good ness it is already assembled. Just peal off the sheet from the glass. Easy to put on and adjustment is great thanks to dial on the back. There was not fog. I could use it with the mask on and my own glasses I used it mainly for garden work cutting with my chainsaw. Some branches keep coming close to your face and it is now well protected. Worth the money.

A very good face mask, for when that extra protection is required

As a very safety focused person who enjoys woodworking I'm always on the lookout for anything that helps me stay safe, so I can enjoy my activities for many years to come. But it's got to be practical! This face shield certainly ticks both boxes for me. It's easy to assemble, easy to fit, with the tension dial on the back easy to secure on the head to stop it slipping and sliding. There's a felt like band on the forehead area to be both comfortable and deal with sweat. The twin tightening knobs on the temples control the positioning of the shield so you can set the visor lift and lower function. But admittedly this can be a bit fiddly at times. The visibility is fine, with a good wide field of vision. The space between your face and the visor easily allows the wearing of a dust mask; not so much by half respirator though which does interfere with the positioning of the shield. My one problem (and I've since found a way to manage) is ear protection. As I prefer ear defenders over ear plugs as I find that the latter tend to cause me ear problems in relation to ear wax. So it can be a bit difficult getting my ED's on whilst I'm wearing this face shield. Maybe I just need some less bulky ear defenders... I think when you compare the capability of the product with the price you're paying then it's definitely a good buy. Especially if you need to use face protection in a more hobby / Home DIY based setting and aren't a fan of goggles.

Brilliant for my uses, grinding, cutting and wearing while operating my metal lathe, I wear spectacles so this is a great option for me not to have my glasses pressed into my face 🤣 P. S. All the 1 star reviewers saying you cannot see through it, it has a protective film on both sides, peel it off... However if you struggled at that you shouldn't be operating any equipment that would require you to wear a face shield in my opinion 😬

Great all round vision, doesn’t mist up.

Never been properly tested with a lathe throw-back, but I like it. Comfortable and with so much visibility you might forget you had it on. Doesn't fog unless the shield is pushed close to the mouth, but even then it disperses quickly. Only drawback is it gets hot inside on a warm day.

Was properly chuffed with the product until I began using it in situ, grinding mortar out on a job, safety wise worked great however instead of fogging up the mask gathered condensation on its place making it just as difficult to see, this may be user error, maybe I have it too close to my face I'm unsure, but it was disappointing to say the least
