My baby absolutely loves this gym. I spent quite a while researching which one to get and I was very pleased with my decision. One of the reasons I chose this one is because it looks nice - very important if it is going to be up in my living room for months! The main thing I was looking for though, was something to engage and entertain my baby, which it really achieves!There is a good variety of interesting toys for baby to grab and to look at. The mat itself is interesting and although my baby doesn't particularly like tummy time, he does like to crinkle the ears on the bunny support so will stay for a few minutes. His favourite is the owl that clips in and out of the top of the arch. He smiles and coos to it.We tend to just leave ours up because it is used daily, but it does fold well for storage. It was a bit fiddly to fasten the arches down with the poppers the first time we put it up, however this does get easier on subsequent times.The toys make crinkle noises and the bee had a lovely chime sound, they can be swapped around to give baby some variety. Also they easily clip off so they can be played with away from the mat, and so other toys can be placed there also. We have added a crinkle tag lion that our son particularly likes.I would highly recommend this. My baby is 5 months old (although was early so 3 months corrected) and has got loads of use out of this. Although it isn't one of the cheapest, it is good value for money based on the use. I have 3 other children so we have used other play gyms in the past, but this is by far my favourite.

When my MIL offered to buy our new baby a gym we asked for a tropical jungle gym which was very pretty, unfortunately that gym falls over if you breathe the wrong way and has never held our infant's interest. After humming and arring over whether or not to purchase this since we already have quite an expensive gym by a reputable brand that was purchased for us as a gift, I decided to give this one a go. We are so glad that we ordered this gym as our baby is now 3 months old and as soon as we put him down on it he was cooing and hitting out at the dangling toys. This gym is easy to assemble, easy to position the toys, and gratefully it came with batteries for the hedgehog toy (which our son enjoys batting and making the connection between cause and effect it would seem!). I was wary about buying this when it is only supposed to be for up to 6 months and with our baby being half that already, but he is so captivated and stimulated by it that it was 100% worth the money. I had read that high contrast images such as black and white would be visually stimulating for an infant and it certainly does the trick. As a first time parent it is so pleasing to see him finally engaging with one of the toys he has been bought, whereas even if we lay him on the other mat now he barely engages. Not all gyms are created equal!

I bought this item in January 2020 and although we are in June now I expected it to last longer than six months considering it was for a baby and the price wasn’t cheap however the arms that slot into the poppers no longer stay in place or in the slots provided the other day one sprung out and I popped out of the slot pocket and hit my baby in the face so now I have taken this item away from him as it’s nit stable. I’m now having to take this item to a Taylor/stitcher to add more poppers to make it safe for my baby which is going to cost me another £20-£25!! if I was in the returns time I’d ask for a return or exchange my baby is now only seven months old this item should’ve been safer than what it was

Meu bebê adorou o ginásio! É o maior e mais acolchoado do mercado (não é tipo um colchonete, mas pelos que vi nas lojas, esse é bem melhor)! Os brinquedos são bem coloridos e fazem barulho! Só achei o brinquedo musical um pouco baixo! Tem um móbile com duas abelhinhas que não tem barulho, mas as cores chamam a atenção do bebê! O tapete é lindo, um colorido bem bonito com um mordedor fixado e tem o desenho de uma árvore com uma parte móvel que faz barulho de plástico amassado ao mexer! Tem dois móbiles de chocalho e um outro que faz barulho de plástico amassado ao pegar! Tem uma almofadinha com orelhas que fazem barulho de plástico amassado, ótima para o bebê brincar de bruços. As hastes do ginásio se movem ao deslizar o fixador do brinquedo musical para baixo, de forma que o bebê quando maior pode ficar sentado no tapete! Veio muito bem embalado e dentro de bolsa com alça p transporte! O total de brinquedos são: 1 musical, 4 móbiles, 1 porta retratos que vem com o espelho de plástico (estes ficam nas hastes); 1 almofadinha, 1 mordedor preso no tapete, 1 com barulho de plástico amassado preso no tapete.

Regrettably, this was the biggest purchase mistake I made in anticipation off my daughter, and I wasted such a large chunk of my baby shower money on it. I really wish I could turn back the clock and save myself the money!Aesthetically, this baby gym looks lovely. The playmat is plush and well made.However, the toys are not at all engaging for my baby. The musical toy doesn’t work at all unless I manually keep switching it on for her all the time which defeats the point, and the mirror isn’t even the right size so doesn’t fit into the gym at all (I use it on her pram instead!).Overall, it’s very overpriced for what it is. The toys are sparse and basic. I ended up having to attach additional toys from a well known baby brand to get her to sit underneath it at all. Otherwise she is completely bored.I would have been better off spending £20 on a wooden gym and attaching my own toys for what it was worth.In the end I bought a second mat by a well known baby brand which is about a third of the price, and was such better value for money. It includes more toys - toys for her to kick her feet and make noise, toys above her, toys on the mat itself, and she loves it. She will spend much longer periods of time on this mat instead.
