Q: Just to clarify, are the bristles also made of bamboo? Also, the product dimensions seem awfully small. It this brush really only 5.2 inches long?

The bristles are not mad of bamboo. It's a great brush, so I bought another one on Amazon. It was different from the one I bought in the salon. I recommend buying at a beauty supply store like Ulta.

I have found the Olivia Garden brushes to be of the highest quality

Q: Can you please tell me measurements of the paddle?

I have the narrow brush, which is about 2” wide and 9” long with the paddle being half of that length. I would say the wide paddle brush is probably 4-5” wide based on the pic. The narrow brush is perfect for smaller hands and thin, fine hair. I suspect the larger brush would work better for thicker hair.
