Pure Fix 42cm Alloy Drop Handlebar

Handlebars were nicely packed when I received them. My first thoughts upon holding the handlebar was that it is very lightweight and of decent constructions seeing as how it's only $22. My fear was that it was going to be too weak for my weight though (200 ibs) , because the tube seems a little thin. Well, went out for a ride and didn't have any problems. The paint seems to hold up nicely. I'm new to biking so these are great for me!

They're the same thickness as the standard high rise flat bar I had so that's a plus! I haven't started riding but they sure look good and feel like they're gonna be comfy. The width is sort of weird though. I have a small frame but for a person wth wider shoulders it might feel a little narrow

So, I actually like this product. It has road geometry but (older) mountain bike dimensions. Great for a project bike or road/gravel conversion. Fit an finish are nice as well. Finally, I really like the aggressive/fast taper from the center clamp to the thinner ends. Many other bars taper over the entire length of the "straight" section, making mounting accessories problematic.So why the missing stars? It's because the product images don't match what I received. The images clearly show a bar that bends 180°. This does not, I'd guess closer to 135'ish. See pics. It's a nice handlebar I however it only has one picture and it is hard to know what the side profile looks like. I gave it a four-star instead of 5 because the description is completely wrong. The clamp diameter is 25.4 mm and not 31.8 mm. It is a 40 cm wide from Center to Center handlebar. Seems like the seller is clueless.

I bought the Pure Fix drop bars about three days ago. These bars are extremely lightweight and make for a comfortable ride. You just can't beat it for the money.

Excellent handlebar, much better than my stock straight bar.It isn't very wide ( straight part, i think all drop bars are like this compared to straight bars/riser bars ) so space is sort of limited for addons such as lights, phone mount, etc. but I got used to it and have no complaints about it.Highly recommend for road bikes/fixed gear bikes.

Man oh man I was so skeptical about purchasing this handlebar. I didn't know whether it was too wide or too big or too heavy! But for the price I couldn't argue so I ordered it! I was nervous when I got the bar, but when I opened the package, I was blown away. First off the there was a big ol box, and in that box was another box. And in that box was the handle bar wrapped in bubble wrap. No scratches and no dents on the bar! It was lightweight, fit onto my stem and was wide enough! I rode it today for about 30 odd miles and it was COMFORTABLE! I will definitely purchase more items from this seller! Thanks pure fix!!!!!! :D
