Tengo una PC con discos de 3.5 and 5.25 para rescatar archivos antiguos de amigos y familiares. La computadora ha estado trabajando por más de 10 años con un disco duro mecánico IDE. Podía fallar en cualquier momento. Mejor puse un SSD SATA en un convertido SATA-IDE (IDE para laptop) y después use este adaptador para conectarlo a la desktop. Funcionó una vez clonado el disco. Pero solo después de cambiar en el BIOS a modo 33Mhz IDE. El tiempo de arranque es el mismo, el cuello de botella es el CPU (10 veces más lento que un 2Ghz Core2 Duo). Los pines de corriente de laptop no se conectarón.

Great price and worked perfect.Got an old laptop from 1996 and needed this to see if the hard drive still worked. Plugged it in and then into my dock and it read just fine.

Worked perfectly for an iMac G4 hard drive upgrade
Used this adapter to upgrade the hard drive in my iMac G4. Replaced the spinning drive with an M2 (SATA) and 2.5" IDE adapter. Then the SinLoon 2.5 to 3.5" adapter to plug everything in. Had to add some insulation to the bottom of the circuit board to prevent it from shorting out on the metal case of the drive sled. But otherwise it was plug and play.
