Elasto-Gel, Hot/Cold Therapy Wrap, 6 X 24 by Elasto-Gel

I have bone-on-bone in my right knee, and it can be very painful, especially if I overdo. This covers the knee all the way around and attaches really easily. Because of the coverage, it is very effective at reducing the pain. It is thin enough so that it is easy to move around. I was able to work in the house while wearing it. I have only tried it cold so far, but it can be heated in the microwave for when heat is preferable.I am very pleased with it. I got the six inch wide one, there is also a 9 inch that might work well for taller people.

While I was going to physical therapy, they used the ice gel on my knee surgery. They told me where I could get my own and I wasn't disappointed. I also use it on my back alternating between hot and cold. It is large and very well made.

It stays cool for a long time and the Velcro strap holds it in place. It is excellent knee pain management

This is my 2nd Elasto Gel product and I'm really a fan - good quality and durable. I discovered this product many years ago and the original product is still effective after many uses. Recently, I've had to treat a torn meniscus and knee swelling, and used this product every day, sometimes several times a day, as a cold pack. I continue to be impressed with how well and how long their products retain heat / cold. I'm the kind of person who does a lot of research on products before buying. I sought this product out as it did not show up on initial general search pages. I'm glad I did.

These wraps stay soft so they have better contact with your skin/muscle. The elastic strap is strong and holds the wrap in place. We've bought other ice packs and wraps, but the time they soften enough to make good contact it's time to put them back in the freezer. These are the only wraps we will spend our money on in the future.

Gel does not stay cold very long

I recently had a knee replacement surgery and am going to Physical Therapy treatments. At the end of each treatment, my knee gets “iced” for ten minutes. They place this wrap around my knee and I get to relax. It is soft and pliable but yet you get the benefit of the coldness from it. I liked it so much, I asked what it was and ordered one for myself to have at home. I have been using it several times times a day and getting that cold relief needed for my knee.
