Compac Home Salad Blaster Bowls, 26 oz, Reusable Container, Color May Vary, 2 Count

When I ordered this, it is listed as "Salad Blaster Bowl 2 Pairs (Lid/Bowl) - Colors may vary". Now, reading that as the description I was thinking I would get 2 x pairs, of bowls. To me, that would be 4 bowls. Even at the least, in trying to analyze what they were attempting to describe, maybe 2 pairs, lids and bowls which might mean 2 lids, 2 bowls.... Nope. Turns out you only get A (1) [single] bowl. Not a pair of anything, nor in any quantity. I contacted Amazon and they were pretty nice about offering options as they agreed that the listing is pretty confusing and remedied the purchase to my satisfaction.Overall the bowl isn't really terrible in quality. It is somewhere between those better quality disposables and a supperware/rubbermaid regular re-usable container. For what is does, compared to the big name comparable items, it's 2/3 to half the cost, duh.I expect to get maybe 6-8 months out of them judging on first few uses and feeling/quality of the product; I'll be happy. I take 4 salads a week to work with me, was using the disposables. I had a set I would rotate through 4 days a week, every week for about 3 months, then I'd replace them. If these cost 2x-3x those and give me 3x the service AND have the cool dressing dispenser so I don't have to carry separate dressing, sounds like a no brainer to me!2 stars off for now due to the bad product listing, I will revisit this in the future when either the listing is fixed, or if something changes with the bowl. I would order 3 more "PAIRS", especially if it were in the quantity I thought they would be. I will up it 1 star for listing correction to 4 if that happens and that's where I'd leave it as a final for the ok, but not super product quality for the $.  Update: These bowls are still going strong. I take them to work every day, they go through the dishwasher every week. They are holding up without any issues. I still feel they are on track for me to get another 4 months or so out of them, but since their condition hasn't really changed since I bought them, who knows how much longer than that they may last.I see the "2 Pairs" issue in the description has still not been corrected, I'd still consider ordering more if I knew what I'd get. Disappointing that Amazon hasn't addressed that issue. ] Update: Well, well well... here we are in December, and these bowls WILL NOT DIE. Still in the same general condition as they were on the last update. Crazy huh? Ps. just saw another review about them melting in a dishwasher? Hardly the product's fault I think. I wash mine in the dishwasher (top rack) every week and they're still just fine. I'm now really temped to hit the order button, as I see the "2 pair" issue in the description has changed to "1 pair". Do I get 1 pair of bowls and lids now?

The salad dressing lid broke during first use. Cheaply made product.

I have used this type of salad bowl in the past and liked the convenience. This bowl still gives me the convenience but is made of cheaper plastic. Not as sturdy. Works fine but don't expect to have it for long if you use it often. Also, something I missed -- you get two identical bowls.

I love these salad bowls!!! They are the perfect size for a lunchtime salad, and the dressing dispenser design is so clever. I'm disappointed that, after pressing on them a number of times, the dispensers have cracked down the middle -- thus 4 stars instead of 5. I use tape to seal them now, but despite that they are still my favorite pieces of plasticware!

I got these bowls for my hubby when he went on a diet and he loves them. It is a pretty simple design, easy to use, and easy to wash. It is just the right size for a portioned salad. The dressing has never leaked prematurely.I was actually disappointed when the product first arrived but I contacted the company about a defect and they promptly sent a replacement bowl no problems! Thank you!

A friend had one she spend $$ on at a home party and I was smart enough to research and find it for a fraction of the price here. It works great for taking salads to work 1. lettuce is fresh longer 2. dressing stays separate 3. dressing compartment helps with portion control. Only dislike is the dressing compartment isn't an easy clean in the dishwasher but i rinse thouroughly before putting in the wash and its fine.

the only problem I have with this product is the dressing container. The opening is narrow so if the dressing is thick, you can not easily get it all out. It also makes it difficult to clean well. I recommend the mouth of the dressing container be redesigned.

I ordered 4 bowls and have been rotating using them for a little over a month. The part that holds the dressing on 3 of them have split at the seam.

Bowls are cheap and expensive

This product is excellent for taking salads to work. The dressing does not leak out of the top and the lettuce stays crisp until you pop open the dressing! Easy to clean, easy to store, I love this bowl!!!

I used this salad blaster once and the seal at the top unsealed and all my dressing leaked out into my lunch bag. Would not recommend buying this product.

Great price and I like the product.

Big and clumsy and broke easily after only a year. But cheap so good for the first year that it worked.
