Portable security
Alarm is great for traveling, it keeps the hotel room locked down. I think this alarm is great to have and it's not expensive. I learned 1 alarm is good if its an open space, use 2 if there is a wall dividing entry ways. It's loud enough to wake you up and small enough to hide anywhere in the house. It's worth a piece of mind.

not robust enough for me
I wanted a portable alarm that was very loud and not easily silenced. This one didn't meet my requirements, so I returned it. The on/off switch is on the side, which makes it easy to immediately turn the alarm off. The alarm is not loud. The alarm horn opening is on the bottom side of the unit, so it can easily be muffled by placing it against something soft such as a pillow.
