I was a little apprehensive to purchase based on some other reviews and the price, which was a little high for me. I purchased the dark gray. I have to say I was most pleasantly surprised! The fabric is soooooo soft and velvety. It keeps me warmer than my other (sheet like) duvet cover, which I need in Idaho winter weather.I was also apprehensive about the "pin tuck" design. Pin tuck is not what this ended up being. I wouldn't know what exactly to call it but I know for sure it shouldn't be called pin tuck. I was worried if it was pin tuck that it would come apart at the tucks. This is like a sewed-in crisscross pattern and very durable.It has the ties on the inside of the corners to keep the duvet in place. Some review said it didn't, but this style did.There were also some dim reviews that complained about these duvet covers being thin blankets. I don't think those people realized what they were looking at. Duvet covers go over duvets...like a pillow case goes over a pillow.The one complaint I have is that even though the duvet ties into the corners, I move around a lot so I get where the duvet shifts slightly to one side. I have to shake it out every few days to re-align everything. But I also am not one who makes my bed every day. I'm sure if I did then that wouldn't be as much of an issue.In the end, even though I was concerned with the price before I bought it, I would most definitely buy this again! In my opinion it was well worth it!

Love this comforter cover for winter. The weight feels very cozy, and the fabric is super soft.....The cover has ties in each corner so that you can secure your inside comforter from slipping around. Love the dark navy for winter, and it comes with great shams for your king pillows Its beautiful to look at and feel.

Nice color but not as deep blue as I expected but still very pretty.. This duvet cover is great for the price. It is soft, warm, and pretty thick. It washed and dried nicely. My only complaint is it was missing 1 tie on the inside to secure the inset. That was not worth returning it.

A bit heavy but very warm and comforting despite. Fit perfect. Only a little difficult to place comforter inside given the weight but also to be expected. The design being turfed feared might be uncomfortable but velour so soft and plush only added to the comfort and of course the look.

I got this as a treat and it is a delight. The texture is soft, it closes easily, and is exactly what i was hoping for!I actually got this twice, first didn’t have the pillow covers so I used customer service for an exchange. Wow they have streamlined returns. It was a great experIence and the new item quickly came. I was thrilled with the experience based on what it was.

This is not real velvet, it’s just a sort of fuzzy fleece microfiber. It looks and feels nothing like velvet should, doesn’t even try. This is disappointing because I was looking for a velvet duvet and thought I found one. I guess you get what you pay for.Other than that it is very warm and soft so I can’t complain too much.Also for all the people crying that it’s “too thin, flat and looks nothing like the “fluffy” photos, you do realize that this is a duvet COVER right? Like you have to put a comforter inside it? Then it will be fluffy like the photos.

I bought this in the dark brown/gold detail design and it's not only beautiful, it's surprisingly soft and high quality. I haven't tried washing it yet (I'll update my review if anything goes awry during washing) but after about two weeks of use I can say that I love this duvet cover and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. One of the reviews said the bottom of this is scratchy but mine wasn't at all. The top is a soft velvety fabric and the bottom has a smooth microfiber feel. The corner ties have kept the duvet in place inside. And there was one other surprise I discovered - this doesn't attract pet hair. I was nervous about this because I have a white cat and somehow, her fur isn't all over this. I don't know how or why but it's fantastic!
