Works great in my April Air Humidifier.

The moisture content in the air in my home went to 50 in no time. This has been very important when one suffers from dry mouth, etc. I am very impressed with the results of this installation.

So I thought my water heater was leaking but on further investigation I discovered the water was actually coming from my dehumidifier. I took off the cover and observed that there was some water on the housing under the filter area. I cycled on the heat and watched the water going into the top of the filter housing and it looked to me like everything was working properly. I speculated that maybe there was a crack in the bottom of black plastic filter frame but on inspection I couldn't find one. So I ordered this kit and installed it. It's a simple install except getting that little red inline strainer out of the solenoid valve was a bit of a PITA and I didn't bother to replace the drain "spud" (love that name). After I put it all back together I turned it on and - no more leaks. At the end of the day I think that I may have oversized my orifice while performing my annual filter replacement. It was clogged so I used my smallest wire type gauge (from a carburetor cleaning tool) as reamer. After I'd installed the new one, I observed that the flow into the filter water distribution tray was less then before so perhaps I was flooding the filter and causing an overflow? Whatever the cause, I'm happy to have fresh parts and no more leaks. It's probably a good practice to replace all this stuff every 5 years or so anyway. All the parts I replaced were certainly feeling and looking a little stiff and crusty. I ordered a couple of extra filters so I think I'm all set for another couple years.
