Nice dipole, works well, easy to assemble, GOOD TO GO!!
I assembled mine on a lazy afternoon, spent about 2 hours total as I seal up all areas where water could get into it, mounted on 6ft. piece of PVC pipe, set the SWR's and then mounted it up on a 24ft. "push-up pole". Made contacts on both 10 meter Ham and also CB/11meters. Great reports doing DX work out of Florida, have made contacts in UK, Europe, all of North America, South America, Australia/New Zealand/Tasmania, Greenland, South Africa, set up as "horizontal". I heartily recommend this antenna for Ham and CB.....no element cutting needed, simply slide the elements in and out for the length you need for the frequencies you operate on, then screw/tape each......the SWR Gamma Match is very simple to use, and you can set it by using an antenna analyzer/tuner, or by measurements that fit the frequencies you run, using supplied info or by accessing any number of antenna modeling sites on internet. It is worth the $$ and minor effort to assemble, and do to size and weight is easy to put up in the air, no struggle!! I like these Sirio antenna products, good value for the money.Great antenna as designed - however, if you are handy - see below!!I was impressed at transmit (and receive) capability with 40-60 watts average wattage....so much so that I have now modified it into a 3 element Yagi (added two (director) elements made from painters pole aluminum, and some old TV antenna alum rods for 3rd, spaced at 5ft. each (total of 10 ft. long). This homebrew Dipole-to-Yagi is much better, with at least an "S" unit to 2 "S" unit signal increase. Use antenna modelling info to help you if you have no experience at building/making antennas.

Great results for a compact size base antenna!
I was very surprised at how well this antenna works even though it's half the size of most larger base antennas. No it won't work as well as a 22' foot antenna, but for a 8ft antenna it does very well. Main vertical is aluminum and you don't need to cut it to tune, you just slide the one piece inside the other to achieve the right length. I have a tune of 1.2 to 1.3 across all 40 CB channels. It has a small radial maybe 4 feet long. Very easy to assemble and mine it mounted 10 feet off the ground. I can transmit 20 miles with a standard CB.

seems well made but not in sirio original packaging
seems to be an original but im a little sketchy because it arrived in a random box and none of the original sirio packaging was in that box I've bought 2 other sirio antennas and they came in a sirio labeled box. i guess what im trying to say is i feel like if i bought a pair of expensive shoes and the clerk handed them to me in a supermarket plastic bag thats all

Nice antenna.
Nice antenna, easy to set up and adjust. I did not cut the "A tubes" I just slid them into the center tube to set its length for 27.5 MHz and drilled new holes, that way I can always make it longer for different frequency. It has a wide band range but I did have to wrap elect. tape around the sliding part and the fixed end of the gamma match because I was getting rain water in there and it made the SWR go high. Currently using it in horizontal because I have a vertical antenna. Will try the Sirio vertically soon and plan to use it on a telescopic pole out in the RV this summer. Very light weight. I am just trying things out so I have it horizontal on a fiberglass pole that I can raise it up off the back porch to just over the roof line. Gets out good plus I am at 750 feet. Seems to be well built.

Hams use this style antenna with great success, this particular antenna works fabulously on the C.B. band.
Tired of those junk fiberglass antennas? Try this all metal antenna, and see a world of difference. You'll never go back. Three thousand watt gamma-match, dual polarity, also work well on the 6 meter band, has the same gain as the I-MAX 2000 but with far less ground noise, and it is in the same price range...It's a far better deal. This antenna is also top quality construction as it is made in Italy, not China!

Works almost as it should.
The antenna and directions are excellent. I had this up and tuned in about an hour on a temporary mast in a tripod for initial tuning and it was butt simple. I tuned it vertically and then moved it to the permanent place in a horizontal orientation. Match was good until the wind blew and it seems that there is enough flex to move the gama match in the horizontal as match went all over the place. Turned it vertical again and back to business.. wish it was a little more rigid. Would I recommend it to you? Yes, it works very good.
