Rustom Pavri, a decorated naval officer, finds out about his wife Cynthia s ( Ileana D Cruz) affair with a hot headed businessman Vikram Makhika played by Arjun Bajwa. After an honest confession by Cynthia, Rustom is completely shattered by her revelation. He heads straight to Vikram s house and murders him in cold blood by firing three shots in close range. Preeti, Vikram s sister (Esha Gupta) decide to go after Rustom till he is put behind bars. This makes way for a courtroom drama that gets spectators, supporters and haters all assemble eagerly at the court to catch every glimpse of the case. A true story grippingly told, mightily acted. BRAVO!
Based on a true story of the 1950s when newly independent India is trying to buy its first aircraft carrier from Great Britain. The inspecting much-decorated Naval Officer (Akshay Kumar) discovers it is a rusting hulk and tries to prevent its purchase. The Ministry of the Navy (or the equivalent) from top down are involved in the humongous graft scam, and scheme their revenge by ensnaring the Officer's wife into an extramarital affair (a major disgrace in most conservative India in the 1950s). It is a gripping tale of patriotism, betrayal, forgiveness and redemption. Akshay Kumar is back (after infantile roles such as in "It's Entertain.ment") to true great acting as he defends himself in court against premeditated murder charges. Pavan Malhotra's Inspector Vincent Lobo too deserves the highest accolade for acting, empathy and sympathy for a suspected murderer/patriot.Overall great ensemble acting, great story line.Check Wikipedia for the true story. The Officer, his forgiven adulterous wife and three children ended up in Toronto, Canada, where he passed away in 2003.

I have not watched the DVD yet but I can say I was part of this film as an Actor so that is why I bought my own personal copy. Hopefully it plays OK when I get time to watch it as I am always filming.
