Great replacement for Apple MacBook charger. Bought this when my original cable broke and no place in town had any. I used this cable multiple times a day for 6 months before retiring my MacBook with no issues. This was in my backpack or purse all day, with temperature swings and being bent up all day, so I’m impressed it held up this well. I noticed no difference in charge rate from my original charger. The magnet connector was also no different. It still works great! Highly recommend.

I have to start from the beginning to tell you why I purchase this over and over again instead of just going to get an original one from the makers of my laptop. When I first bought my laptop in the beginning of 2014, the original cord my laptop came with broke and died by 2016 and I came across this fellow and purchased it for about the same price in 2016. It lasted about three years before the cord broke, and it stopped charging. I purchased a second one towards the end of 2019 for a a slightly higher price. The cord breaks very easily but the charge still holds until it doesn’t anymore. A few days ago, I noticed that the little orange/green light isn’t even light up anymore but it was still charging, or so I thought. After a few hours, it didn’t move from the 11% mark, but I could work on my laptop with the cord plugged in. I knew it was time for a new cord but was honestly leaning towards the original one because for some bizarre reason, I thought it would last longer. Then I recalled why I purchased this one TWICE without getting the original one both times because the original one lasted TWO YEARS and each of these lasted THREE. 6 years of spending under $80, hey, I’ll take this one over the original ANY DAY. That’s why I am back because I know for a fact this will outlast any original I’d be paying WAY too much for.

I find this charger to be lighter than my original MacBook charger that I've had for 10 years. It works effectively.

AMAZON WONT ALLOW THIS PICTURE- IDK WHYThis is a good replacement but you can see it's already starting to break where the cord gets bent(picture included)- could be designed better but it is still working and way cheaper than buying more apple stuff which is only slightly better- the MacBook os old and i don't want to spend that much on it now. It' charges fast and doesn't get too hot- so it's a good buy other than the one fault I noted.
