Cheap but Effective
Good foot pump, simple and easy to use, especially when airing up the tires on my bike. Air flow seems good, as it only takes about 6-7 pumps on average to go from around 35-40 psi to 55-60 psi. Time will tell how durable it is and how well it holds up, but for $15 I have no complaints so far!

Reminds me when a hoe was a hoe. 5 STARS.
I have spent thousands on Amazon and never once left a review. This pump works flawlessly. Every good thing said about it is correct. The negative reviews are because they did not have the valve properly centered before locking the cap switch in place. Common sense goes a long ways. Best productive I've ever bought. I like the manual situation. Don't have to worry about power or a battery Fits perfectly in the saddle bag I will never worry about a flat ever again while traveling on the harley Pro tip throw a dab of oil on the cylinder while your using for the first time. The hose is removable so if you want to up grade or put an in line gauge on it. I was completely surprised and very very happy with the headache this perfect tool just ended for me.

Great pump for bike tires
I love this foot pump! I had issues with a couple hand pumps for my bike and wanted to look for something better. This fit the bill. 1. It’s the perfect pack away size. 2. It fills my tires with air quickly and easily. 3. Price is great for the quality.

Total 80s nostalgia, and well built just like from back then!!
So the story is my cheap, poorly engineered waste of a plastic pump that seems to be the common industry standard for pumps in the market these days unsurprisingly broke. It's pump mechanism was fine, but where the hose met the pump housing, the connector fitting was made out of plastic, and it was part of a permanent injection mold, thus not easily serviceable, could not hold the hose in place anymore, and since not only was the fitting was not replaceable, the threads were non-standard size and pitch, and they were plastic! Ugh! But I needed a pump to make sure my car tires are properly inflated, and since my Prime membership was still active at the time, I looked for it on Amazon. Out of the sea full of useless, similarly cheap, practically unserviceable pumps, this Franklin pump showed up -- it was identical to a Franklin pump I had when I was like 10 years old, back in the 80s. And, the design had not changed much from back then either -- user serviceable fittings, a nice, braided hose, a large piston chamber. It was like a diamond shining through a pile of plastic pebbles. Nostalgia immediately filled my head, and I knew from my experience back then how service-friendly and dependable this model pump from Franklin was -- a ten year old me could repair it! So I bought it. The day after it arrived, I went to my car to try it out -- the pedal was so smooth and effortless to operate. The scale was a little off just like the cheap pump that broke -- that part was different from my 1980s model, where the scale back then was made out of metal, with a precision metal needle. The plastic scale on the current model was showing 40 psi where the actual pressure was more like 33 psi, but that was adaptable, especially since I was using a separate, calibrated needle pressure gauge to measure the pressure. Again, this pump is user-serviceable, so I could easily replace its gauge with a better gauge later, if I wanted to. Pros -- Serviceability (can translate to longevity as the product can likely be repaired, instead of becoming garbage just because a fitting broke) Extremely light to operate. Excellent air flow -- it did take about 50% more reps to reach the same pressure as the cheap pump, but the it was like pressing on a cotton ball, and that extra 50% more reps were like done without much effort. Compact size -- I was able to put it in my plastic container that had my other maintenance items in my car, instead of having to leave it outside in the cargo area. The nozzle fits properly and seals well on the tire pressure valve stem. The nozzle comes with an adapter that can be used to pump basketballs, soccer balls, and old style bicycle valve stems. Cons -- The nozzle fitting is plastic, and so is the gauge. The gauge is off a little, but it seems to be consistent, and it does have a helper needle on it to mark the target pressure. Using a separate gauge that is accurate can help resolve this issue. Verdict -- Sure beats the many cheap throw-away landfill-causing plastic pumps in the market today! The quality of its critical components are still more of less the same fantastic quality as it was approximately 40 years ago!

The mighty little foot pump
Awesome little pump. I was almost fooled by its size, actually the pump function is powerful and easy to pump with my hand or foot. I now appreciate the small footprint. I'm able to place it in my backpack and go. I am so pleased with the manual functions, I've given up on electronic pumps.

A pump
Works great. Exactly what I was looking for. I use a foot pump for a wheel barrel tire and other small tires. Exactly as described.

I knew this would be an excellent quality foot pump because it is made in the U.S. Strong, sturdy joints and powerful pumping action. I'm glad this product came with 2 nozzles other than bicycle tires, for balls and air mattresses etc.

Does its job. Build quality is ok, could be a little more heavy duty but that would increase weight. So far the gauge is pretty accurate.
