What happens when the sink, the dishwasher, the water heater, the fridge, or anything else decides to leak while I'm asleep or away from home? I did some research and found these YoLink leak detectors. They have saved my ass multiple times and have EASILY saved me 10's of thousands of dollars by telling me about a leak the second it started, instead of days later when I happened to walk by and notice it. Example: I had a sensor in the basement next to my water heater and sump pump. We got 6 inches of rain overnight and one of my sump pumps failed. At 2am this thing went off and woke me up (via 'priority notifications' on the iPhone, sends a loud alert even if your phone is on silent). Thanks! **Q: Is this a dumb proprietary system or does it ingrate with smart home technologies, ie Z-wave Zigbee etc?** A: It is not Zigbee, WiFi or Z-Wave wireless technologies, all these wireless technologies only work for short range. The YoLink system use the longest wireless range and lower power consumption. It works with the YoLink hub and can be integrate to other system through the Alexa routines, IFTTT or YoLink's API. We have YoLink water leak sensor 2 which has build in sound, both them have app push notifications, emails and text message for leak alert. **Q: What frimware version do you have on these D or E? Tx** A: Mine came with 030E installed. The sensors I bought previously had 030D installed and still aren't being offered the 030E update even though they are the exact same model number. I purchased the 3-pack water leak sensors but did not realise the difference between UC and EC on the labels. UC does not work in the UK; you need to buy EC.
