First thing: I ordered the Aqua Blue / Turquoise! LOL - as you can see I have PURPLE! I did NOT drop the star rating because of the wrong color because that is easily fixed! I'm actually quite happy for the mix up! It's far more interesting visually! The color is in my shower curtain. SO, JUST BE AWARE of the possible color mix up. The label clearly states Aqua ... I'd be curious to see if by ordering purple the Aqua would be sent! I'm sure at some point the error will be noticed and addressed!They fluffed up nice & soft through the wash cycle. I didn't think they had much more lint for a first wash than my sister's thicker well washed towels from the pillow guy. I like these better!Yaayyy! It SAYS to wash in COLD - I wash everything on the "Tap Cold" setting anyway! I like the contrasting thread color on the trim as well. Dried on low, I didn't notice any 'SHRINKING' around the trim.They are a nice MEDIUM weight which in my opinion drier quicker (energy efficient); NOT the super thick that some are looking for, I'd say 2x thicker than a "beach towel". I did notice 1 'snagged' longer thread on ONE towel. I just snipped & tied, then trimmed it.At 70 inches long it's PLENTY long enough to wrap around most bodies! Mine hang on a handicap height rail so it makes for interesting folding to keep it off the floor! Hope this helps!

UPDATE: AS OF MAY 15TH, 2023. I have used the towels after bathing and found them to be very good. Not too thick but still absorbent. I'm happy with my purchase. I just received both the "Dark Red/Burgundy" and "Blue" bath towel sets. I opened them and put them through 2 washes and rinses. They shed ALOT. Do your dryer a favor and take the newly washed towels outside and shake them off thoroughly before putting them in your dryer. Dry them and then put them through the rinse cycle again with fabric softener. Once done, shake them off outside and dry them. That helped a lot with these towels. I have NOT used them to dry off with after showering yet, so I will update my review once I have to let you know whether or not they shed all over me!! The towels are very pretty in color, but they aren't a really thick towel which is ok with me. I don't know if they are absorbent yet when drying off but I will update you. THE REASON FOR NOT HAVING 5 STARS IS SIMPLY, THE SHEDDING. THEY SHED ALOT. But, towels usually do. I hope this review helps someone.

I had wanted a set of these towels for SOOOOOOO long, so when they went on sale, I finally bought one. I ordered dusty rose, expecting a rosy, pinkish color but they are not a dusty rose color. It's more like dusty plum because they have more of a purple tone than pinkish. I briefly thought about returning them but can live with this color and, thankfully, the color blends with my bedding I was matching it to. But what I don't agree with is the price. I think they are overpriced. Sure, they come packaged nicely and tied with a ribbon, and they aren't cheaply made but they are not worth the price I paid. Or even worse, their usual, not-on-sale price. They are nice but they are NOT luxurious like some high-end towels I've used, which makes me say they are overpriced. They even had quite a few hanging threads after I laundered them the first time, which is something I was not expecting with towels in this price range. I've NEVER paid this much for towels before and am now glad I haven't because they are not worth the price (esp the regular price).

I purchased the gold-color towels as bathroom decor and not for actual use. I placed in the dryer to get the wrinkles out before display and there was lint in the lint trap from the towels that had not been washed first. The color is a true gold in my estimation which is what I wanted for display purposes. My opinion if I had the option to see/feel these towels before purchase would be that they are a bit thin and easily snagged. I think that they are a little bit less in quality, but I received what I needed in color and trim which is very nice and they look as good as I envisioned for bathroom. I am pleased that they look as nice as they do, but might not last in actual use.

I ordered and received these towels and am very disappointed. They are NOT soft, plush, fluffy or thick. After laundering upon delivery they are thin, not soft, and certainly not fluffy. My only true waste of money on Amazon,

Chez Linen Chest la marque Royal Plush c'est la meilleure. Vos serviettes c'est comme de la galette ne sont pas épaisses et ni absorbantesMais la couleur me convient tres bien.Tellement tannéee de commander et retourner vos produits.
