This was the old formula which worked great. The new formula not so much have to mix with a small mixer as it dosen't mix well when shaken gets really lumpy

I have used H3 for a year now and was happy with it. I have fine, straight, dark brown hair. I decided to use this lighter color as it was summer and I thought perhaps a more golden tone would suit my tan.This product works very easily and comes with everything you need for one of the better prices I have found. You simply pour the cream into the included tray, then put the powder in. You mix it with the handle of the brush to get a smooth cream. You then use the brush end to apply it as you desire. I style my hair as normal to try to get a natural look and apply it with a softer hand at the top near my scalp and then a heavier hand at the bottom of my hair. You then wait he designate time and rinse, shampoo, and use the included conditioner on your hair. You're done!My hair lightens easy. VERY easy. I can't count the number of times I've gone into a salon, explained that my hair always takes less than the standard time, had them set the timer and come back and exclaim as they rinsed my hair or removed the cap/foils and wads of white hair came off my head without any pulling )-: Which is why I started doing it myself at home. I always use a shorter time than what is in the directions. This box says 15 to something minutes, so I did 10. The results were still lighter than I expected -- pale blonde with some of the earlier applied spots white. BUT the hair didn't burn off!I am a swim instructor so spend more time in the pool chlorine than is normal.I like this product, I like how it applies. The specific color is a little lighter than I prefer, but I have gotten compliments on how the two tone effect is flattering. For people who want dependable results at a very affordable price, I would suggest this product without reservation!

Excellent highlighting mix for hair. Just have to constantly hunt for it on Amazon, Walmart and other online places...seldom available.

This was my first (and second) time doing my own highlights. It was pretty easy to use. I singled out the sections I wanted and bobby pinned them back. Then after I was done (timed it for 25 mins.) the parts I did first came out great and the last did not take as well (not as bright). So the next time I started with that area (and the more noticed areas) and worked the opposite direction. This worked out nicely. I also took the advice to use an old tooth brush (and my fingers [with the gloves they include]). The brush they give seems to be useless! The only other hint I'd give is to not make the highlights too straight near the scalp since it looks better when it grows out if it's a bit more jagged. I find that's more important later when it grows out in a couple of weeks. My hair is very thick and I only do 1/4 facial highlights. If you have thick hair and want to cover a good amount of hair I would get 2 boxes to be safe. The odor is not super strong but I would not work with it around a baby. But it does go away quickly. As for the color, the picture on Amazon is just right. It comes out a very light honey blond. Very pretty! Love the color so much I have this on my subscribe and save monthly order!

I was looking for something that didn’t have any brassy color in it and this is perfect! I love how the ash tone looks. My hair is mostly gray and this has good coverage. Now I just need to find a great shampoo that won’t wash out the color!

I always buy the Darkest Brown color to match my natural color. After dying, my hair color is a bit darker than the picture on the box but definitely not so dark that it looks black. The shine and color really last for me. I color my hair about every three months with one root touchup in between. I have the "grays" starting to come in scattered on the top of my head and the temples. This product does a great job of covering them up! TIP: Color your grays first then go to the remainder of your hair. Stubborn grays can take longer to color! I do find that my grays are pretty stubborn and come back in about 1.5 months. I use Clariol's Nice and Easy Color Root Touchup in Dark Brown to fix the roots and gray hairs at my temple.The smell of the dye is not noticeable and the conditioner is fabulous! I really can not say enough good things about the conditioner!! I have tried all the drug store brands and Nutrisse gives me the best color (true match), long lasting color and shine and is quick and easy. Flawless every time!

The color is nice, 61 Light Ash Brown. The application process is easy. But it is not a good formula for covering gray hair. I left it on even longer than suggested, but the gray was still somewhat visible (looking a little more like highlights) and now, about 2 weeks later, the gray is easily visible. So, it does not work for me and I will not be purchasing it again.

First: I love this!3 years ago I got my hair dyed at a salon and told the woman that my father, sister, and grandmother are redheads with a sister and grandmother who are blonde. There are serious red tones in my medium brown hair, as well as blonde tones to the point where my winter hair looks like roots because my gets very light in just one summer. Needless to say the stylist didn’t believe me, chose to not do cool tones and turned my hair dark pink, yuck!So I get nervous when choosing a hair dye, and always choose an ash brown. This is definitely ash brown and it matched my hair color perfectly, covered my grays! The other thing I like is how nourished my hair felt after I dyed it. I looked in the mirror and immediately thought, “WOW!” My hair has never looked so smooth and shiny, it really made my hair shimmer!

Excellent ash brown colour, quite light for a brown, without any brassy tones at all. However, having also tried the European Nutrisse hair dyes, I noticed that the US version leaves hair quite dry. I wonder why Garnier don't produce this colour in Europe, and why they don't produce the same quality of product in the US.

Used the product for colouring hair. It was as expected. Arrived before the expected shipping date.
