I ended up returning these because the problem wasn’t the shocks. It was the balancer. Too expensive to fix so we bought a new washing machine. These did look exactly like the factory ones though

After 11 years of faithful service, my Samsung front loader started having extreme difficulties going into the final spin cycle unless the load was small and PERFECTLY balanced inside. After fretting there was something wrong with the electronics, the Interwebs said the problem was probably just the worn-out shock absorbers on the drum.Luckily, everything on the Internet is always true and such was the case here. Five minutes of YouTube education showed me how to properly open up the washer and access the old shock absorbers, which I then swapped out with these. If you have easy access to your washer (front, back, and TOP), then the whole job will take you less than an hour from start to finish.Can't speak to longevity yet but nine months later with a duty cycle of about three washes per week, they're working perfectly and my Samsung happily enters the spin cycle even with the largest and most unbalanced loads.

shock absorbers fit great, easy install. You may have to push out the steel sleeve to fit the shock on to the drum. I had smoke inside the drum when i opened the door due to the old struts in the front failing and the drum rubbing on the seal in the spin cycle. new strut fixed it...

The shocks fit perfectly and solved the noise and shaking the washer made.

Was replacing a lot of parts on my washer and this was one of them. Absolutely no noise and keeps the washer balanced. Love that I did go ahead and replace these. For just this part, it was a relatively easy replacement. Great buy!
