This product is a total game changer. It worked like magic from day one -- no more woodpecker hammering!!Woodpeckers began hammering on one end of our steel roof a few years ago. At first it was seasonal in the summer and early fall, but in the last year it started happening at daybreak, two to four times per, week all year long. I did lots of research and tried a few remedies, to no avail. Then I saw this product on amazon, and it looked promising, so we gave it a try.Hubby could only reach a few feet onto our roof, which is right where the pecking was happening. He laid out two rows side by side on the 25' high roof peak. The spinning top pieces on the two rows actually touch, but the light clacking seems to help with deterrence. This product is currently attached to the roof via steel wire, but we plan to use exterior tape for a more permanent solution. Amazingly, this deterrent has held up to our monsoon weather, in winds up to 80 mph.We have not experienced a single peck or hammer since installing this product 3 to 4 months ago. I cannot recommend this product enough! I even bought another batch just in case we need to replace the ones that are up there at some point.

Waste of time and money; doesn’t work. Threw them out! The ONLY PRODUCT THAT DETERS WOODPECKERS IS SPECIFICALLY: Bird-X Woodpecker Pro Electronic Bird Repeller Guaranteed Woodpecker Control Solution 1-Acre Coverage sold at Home Depot not Amazon for some reason. If there is another bird named in the description you have the wrong one!

I installed patio curtains this winter for privacy when in the hot tub, having dinner or gathering on our patio.Spring came around and the morning doves we out in droves making nests on top of anything that is relatively flat stay's and remains so long enough for them to build a nest. So this year they discovered out new patio curtains and started using the bunched up tops to use has a cushioned and confy flat surface to build their nests. I would no sooner find the nest and shake them off before they laid eggs and a few hours later I'd have them building new ones. After three days of this, I surrendered and elected to take down the curtains and look for a deterrent. I looked at the unsightly spikes, pin wheels, reflective tape, etc. offered until I found this product and decided that it would not detract from the appearance of my patio like the other products would and in concept should work.It was an easy install and being a clear plastic, blended in nicely. Unless you knew to look up there, they don't draw attention.So, I put my curtains back up and although I saw doves flying in and out of my patio near the curtains, no nests have been made. They worked!

I purchased 4 boxes of bird deterrent products for my balcony railing. I installed 3 boxes and wondered why some of the moving panels were not moving as well with the breeze. My answer? 2 different types of panels were shipped to me even though the model number was the same on all boxes. 1 box had separate moving panels that worked great (photo 1) and 3 boxes had panels that did not move well with a breeze (photo 2). The pigeons did not land near the separate moving panels, but did land near the panels that didn't move well at all. I was hoping this was my answer to deter pigeons but alas it may not be...

I recently moved into a house with square columns where pigeons love to roost. I had to use adhesive to get them to stick to the tops of the columns, but so far so good. My columns are very tall and wide, so I had to order 3 boxes in addition to using some plastic spikes on the corners(saw a pigeon actually manipulate the flappers in order to walk in the gap between the flappers and the wall of the column). It would be nice if they connected on both ends. It's a good temporary fix until I can save up to have the entire house pigeon proofed.

I have a big problem on my deck and birds love to leave little presents for me to clean up. I also have 2 house sparrow families nesting in my gazebo. We have tried everything from spikes to cayenne pepper/vinegar to deter these little guys. Take down a nest and in 2 days they rebuild it better than before. I was getting desperate but I didn't want to use anything that would hurt them. These are good deterrents but only time will tell if they outsmart the contraptions. These would work perfectly for pigeons I think because they are meant for the bigger bird. They do ok for the smaller ones. I gave it 4 stars because it does not seem too sturdy and they need rubber at the bottom of it or double stick tape to keep it in place. They have holes for screws but I don't want to permanently drill holes in my deck.

I had issues with birds leaving their mess on a decorative wishing well in my yard. I didn't want to use those spikes I have seen others use so I ordered these. We had to make a few modifications to be able to mount the pieces to the top. I am happy to say it's been weeks now and no more bird mess!

Always had an issue with birds on our mailbox until I installed this product! Simple installation and not a single bird has successfully perched on our mailbox since!!!
