A very sturdy scooter with hand brake
Did not see anything protruding that would scratch ankle, heel, etc. as read in other comments. I am a first time adult user.Hand brake is a must and comes in good use in this urban landscape. But it is simply not as responsive as normal bike brake. I guess scooter brake mechanism is simpler.Steering is easy. I like it. Folding is simple and I do not like those One Kick fold. What happened if you accidentally kick it while you are riding. This one is good. Manual but not hard. Board can be longer for an adult like me to put another foot on. But it is okay for teens. Handle bar can also be a bit longer for adults.

Adult version is great. Kid version needs some quality control
The seller was listing both their adult (hand brake) and kid scooters on this page, so this review really for the kids version ended up here. So I'll talk about both. Their adult (hand brake) scooter is well made and well thought out. It has all necessary features for convenience (handbrake, kickstand you can actually operate by kicking...LAScoota scooters and some others with handbrakes require you to use your hands to operate the kickstand), is easy enough to fold and unfold (it's difficult for me to unfold my husband's Razer, for example). The hand brake version of this scooter isn't as stable or sturdy as some heavier, wider-decked, heavy duty scooters I've tried, but overall this one is a good experience and more fun and convenient than those beasts. So good I decided to get the kids version of this brand for my daughter. The kids version (without the handbrake) seems similarly well thought out, but I can't be sure... It isn't exactly the same, and we were never able to finish assembly after it arrived. The housing for the handlebars was smashed in such a way that the handlebars wouldn't fit inside the tube, so we couldn't put it together and ride it. Very disappointing for a new toy the day after Christmas. My daughter loved the bright pink (rose) color, but after some thought, since we're returning the kid one anyway, she's going to get one exactly like my white and pink one with the handbrake. It's more expensive, but when she's old enough to use a handbrake, it'll be there for her. And with our previous good experience with this brand, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Oh, also, get the LED lit version if you can. It's more fun and adds to visibility at night.

Better than the standard scooters!
I got this for my 14 year old who is now 5' 5". He loves it! I tried it myself and it rides very smooth! Came with everything needed. I am very impressed with the quality of it! Soooo much better than the cheap standard scooters I had gotten him that he grew out of!The only thing I would say to watch out for once getting it is to be aware that the front brakes are sensitive. I squeezed the handle bar brakes (front brakes) while riding it and thought I was going to go flying over it. But other than that, it was worth the money!

Braking system flaw
I was very excited to get this scooter. However it was short lived. It was well package and very sturdy but the disc brake continually rubbed whether the brake was engaged or not. I sent it back 2 days later and am waiting for my refund so I can find another one.

Good seller well product
My son received this scooter from the Easter Bunny. He flipped! It’s easy to assemble right out of the box, the handle bars get clicked in and their height is easily adjusted without the need for tools. The handle bar height accommodates the shortest of riders to tall adults. There are also comfy foam grips. The scooter rides very smoothly, and swivels very nicely. It is made of aluminum which is light enough for my son to carry around, but heavy duty enough for Dad to take a spin. The back break is great, it’s easily pressed and released without getting stuck. The scooter folds down for storage purposes. Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase! My son is so excited about his brand new scooter! Likely be picking up a pink one for my daughter in the near future.

Fun
I like it! I have fun with my boys. Only I don’t like about it is the handle goes down by itself few times already. It was scary! My husband fix and tied it up really good but it keeps happening to me.
