I bought a pair of Sketchers platform Rumblers thong/ sandals last year but because I already had a pair of size 7 that were a tad too short all the way around and because these sandals don't come in half sizes, I ordered 7 W. But the straps on those were too loose. The foot-bed is good so I contemplated taking them to a shoe repair to shorten the straps to hold them on my feet. Also, because the foot-bed on this sandal is flat, if I wore them for any length of time by the end of the day my feet would ache through the next day.I wore these for the first time today in the 7W. What a difference! My foot is now raised closer to the straps making the fit better. The end of the orthotic hugs the under side of my toes exactly like my $200 pair of professionally made orthotics. This makes it so much easier when walking also makimg it less likely to have the thong slip off the foot. The orthotic itself feels comfortable under the foot. It isn't squishy soft but it is pliably soft. I suggest setting the orthotic in the shoe and standing in it before you tape it down. Although, even after I taped them down I had to lift one out and re-adjust. They do stay in place. They fit perfectly in my arch, are comfortable and you can't see them.

MADE IN CHINA There is only approx. 1/4 inch difference in the large Ladies 8 - 10 size of these insoles and the Small Ladies 5 - 7 insole. Both of these sizes are made of a very thick, comfortable rubber/plastic material. If these insoles had been made large enough to fit an adult shoe I would have given them 5 stars. My ladies size 8 sandal is 10 inches long by approximately 4 inches at the widest part of the sandal. The small insole measures approximagely 6 1/8 inches long by approximately 2 3/4 inches in width at the widest part of the foot. As you can see from these measurements the insole is really small.

The ad said sandals, but they only work with thongs. They do not stick, they slide out of the sandal, and the arch support is almost non-existent.

These are wonderful. Very comfortable. They work perfectly in my flip flops and THEY DO STICK AND STAY IN PLACE. There is a clear backing on the insole that needs to be peeled off. They are actually very sticky and adhere to the flip flop. The arch support is not stiff. It’s not like a prescription orthotic, but it does provide some support. I’m very happy with this purchase and will be ordering more.

Let me tell you, someone really did their homework before designing and manufacturing these awesome thong insoles. I've tried others, so I know. The price might seem a bit high, but it's due to the excellent quality and the fact that they really work. Plus, they are the perfect size to be unobtrusive in your flip flops. What I REALLY appreciate is that they add needed stability to my Skechers "yoga mat" flip flops that were too flexible and "bendy" before. Now I feel a lot more secure and comfortable walking around in my cute rhinestone flip flops all day. :-)
