SUPERB QUALITY
SCOPE DOES EVERYTHING IT SAYS IT WILL AND MORE. Great eye relief, easy to sight in, very effective in the field. I would 100% recommend this product to everyone I talk to, from the beginners to seasoned hunters.

To many problems for the price
First unit I received it didn’t have enough up adjustment and the dial got stuck and you could not get it to move with your hands instead of putting vice grips on it and scratching it all up I sent it back got my second unit and it literally took almost 30 shots to get this dialed in at 20 yards. I would make an adjustment up or down and it would throw off my left to right I’m just going to contribute that to Bruce’s customer service and people not knowing about the product because they told me you could back out the set screws and keep them there until you’re done siding the end and I’m pretty sure that was the problem… now after I did that and got 20 yards good I went through the truing process got it all done move the bag around, took a shot and got a bull’s-eye neck shot at the same difference. I was almost 8 inches off to the left took a third shot and I was just as far off if not more to the left after that and probably close to 60 some shots later on my ravin I was done with it…. It’s a cool piece of technology for sure but if that technology is not working properly, you could be very far off. I put the regular stock scope back on and with an eight shots. I was hitting balls, eyes every time. For 899 I expected way better. After going through 2 units I’m not even going to attempt a third unit

Accurate
Love this scope! Works as advertised. Once crossbow is sighted in per instructions, no more ranging deer with rangefinder. On the money, 2 for 2, spot on this year. Recommended!

Pretty good.
If you have sighted in a gun or a bow before it takes about an hour to dial it in. Accurate as can be. As with my bow sight i run lithium batteries, as they last multiple seasons and are awesome in the cold. This scope sat for 2 weeks with a brand new energizer lithium battery and before my hunt thismorning it was stone dead. Last hunt 2 weeks ago. 10$ battery. Ill be removing the battery after hunts, and the battery cover is a major pain in the ass to get screwed in.Good news is i slapped in another lith battery and bullseye at 50yd before hunt, so didnt lose settings.Good price and easy to use otherwise, remote is wireless.

Old Missouri Bowhunter
Let me start by saying that even if the Garmin Xero was the same price as the Burris Oracle X, I would choose the Burris in a heartbeat!I like the lower profile of the OracleX. I like the wireless ranging switch. The Garmin has a wired switch. I like the fact that you always have 20 yd. crosshairs even if the battery goes dead. If the battery went dead on the Garmin, you are dead in the water until you replace the battery. The Burris is also a true variable 2 to 7 power scope. Most crossbow scopes are fixed once you set the speed dial. I like this because I prefer low magnification when hunting, yet it’s nice to be able to crank up the magnification when target shooting or sighting in at longer distances. When I first looked through the scope and turned the eye piece, it quickly came in to focus and I was amazed at sharpness and clarity. The Oracle X also compensates for up and down hill shots and has built in level indicating led’s. Truing is simple once you learn the menu button sequences and the scope ranges distance very quickly. Much faster than my hand held laser rangefinder. One of the best features is the Burris lifetime no questions asked warranty. As a retired electrical engineering technician and 50 year bowhunter, I can’t think of a single improvement I would make to the Oracle X. It is truly the ultimate crossbow scope.
