WWE: SummerSlam 2021 (DVD)

Absolute great PPV for the modern Era. Glad I purchased this DVD of SummerSlam 2021. I officially own every single SummerSlam on DVD.

Summerslam 2021 was a pretty solid effort with the good (RK-Bro vs. AJ Styles and Omos, Usos vs. The Mysterios, Damian Priest vs. Sheamus, Charlotte Flair-Nikki Ash-Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins vs. Edge, and Roman Reigns vs. John Cena more than carrying the show. Even the stuff that was less good such as Alexa Bliss vs. Eva Marie, Drew McIntyre vs. Jindar Mahal, and Bobby Lashley vs. Goldberg served it’s purpose and wasn’t offensively bad or anything. It had a good pace for a big stadium show and didn’t feel like “hey I just sat here for four plus hours” like some shows have felt like.

This was the best event WWE has put on in the past 3 years. Cena vs Reigns was awesome and lived up to the hype. Seth Rollins vs Edge and the triple threat match for the Raw women's Championship were the top three matches. The other matches didn't dissapoint.

This SummerSlam is one of those high production ones which has really good action in it compared to previous summerslams from the late 80s on which actually had really good plot and the action was very good. In theory, today's wrestlers are not as tough as the current ones but they make more sacrifices than ever before with breaking tables, going off the cage and so many other things that stuntsman would even cringe upon. It is what it is. The wrestlers on that card are high conditioned and some of them have slight egos in the ring. Overall, well done!

I enjoyed this WWE SummerSlam 2021 DVD as I do all WWE events because I'm a true fan!
