Got one of these for my other car for added security reasons due to my car being flashyInside and out. The installation was fast and easy Delivery only took a few daysHow ever anyone looking to buy one and use one of these must know that this is a major modification to the car that not only alters the the cosmetics but alters the functions and performances as well. *please note that you WILL NEED an Steering Wheel Hub along with this quick release. also make sure the hub is for your car or truck and fits.one of the major issues with most cars when installing is the AIRBAG and HORN. if you do or did not buy a after marked steering wheel with airbag the current airbag will not be usable once installed. as for the horn most vehicles after the year 2000 will not need to be bypassed or re-wired. if any one needs a fast configuration on how to install the hub and quick release with working horn feel free to message me

The quick release is designed well and I don't see any kind of play happening for some time. There are 2 sets of large chromed ball bearings, set of 4 for top and 5 for bottom and springs are behind them pushing the balls into divets in the receiving piece. It's heavy built and seems strong, but we all know that it must be built well because if anything was to happen while driving the company could end up in a terrible lawsuit. So, strength isn't an issue at all. Not sure I would purchase another, just because the are so pricey. If I raced, then maybe I would have a purpose for one.

Using on my Mazda Miata. Not a racer but I travel for a living and often leave my car parked at work or at an airport for a week or two. Nice to have an extra level of theft deterrent. Also helps with under-dash maintenance when the steering wheel isn't in the way anymore.

This is a great quality product by NRG. Fully machined and a flawless finish, and packaged very nicely. I used this with their short hub adapter to install a momo steering wheel in my car. It came with all the horn connectors and adapters I needed and allows me to easily remove the steering wheel like advertised. The NeoChrome color on this ting is AWESOME. It looks like burnt titanium to me and adds a little flair to the car. I plan on using this product for years and years to come. Im very glad I went with NRG for the quick release.

I tried most versions of QR from NRG and the 200bk still has the cleanest look and feels really solid noMatter how many time you take your steering wheel off and on !

RZR cp 900 with a momo steering wheel. Used some longer screws hard to find 16mm m5 course thread I think. The screws were too long for the hub adapter that came with my RZR (aftermarket). Pushes steering wheel out , closer by and 1-2 inches. Snaps on and off quick and clean. Helps load my rzr into the trailer and i can get out Thru the window a lot easier. My garage is 13’ and my 4 seater RZR is 12’6”

I wanted to install an aftermarket removable steering wheel on my 01 Eclipse so I bought this quick release and a steering wheel. To install this quick release you will first need to install a hub adapter. Once the hub adapter and quick release are installed, you can remove and install a removable steering wheel quickly whenever you want.

I typically use Momo when I’m doing a build. Tried something different. I’m very impressed with the manufacturing and quality. Actually dropped it upon opening bouncing 2 to 3 times on a concrete floor. I found no dings or scratches. Super happy easy installation.

Purchased the black quick release. The black model picture says 11 Years. The one I received did not :(I’m not sure if the one I received is a newer or older model.Can’t seem to contact nrg directly from here to verify.Still yet to install...

Easy to install and fun to use, makes the Ding sound and is easy to remove with one hand. I have it on my 2013 vw Jetta TDI with a momo tuner steering wheel

Amazing product. No knock off. What you see is what you get. Very high quality, durable and the paint is very good quality. Feels very sturdy makes a nice “ding” sound when it locks in. 10/10 would buy again.
