amscan Boys Prince of Thieves Robin Hood Costume - Medium (8-10)

I looked a about a dozen Robin Hood costumes. I never imagined it would be so hard to find a good one. This was great. It survived an entire school day before Halloween and still looked new, and my son talked about how comfortable he was. It’s not scratchy and the boot covers are pretty convincing over black sneakers.Details - the chain maille arms have holes so it’s ventilated. Perfect for school daytimes and not sweating out the costume. Also easy to put a shirt under for cold evening trick or treating. Size: my son wore a medium and he’s in a size 10-12. It just fit, and he was right on the edge of needing a large. It worked well for him, but the boot covers were really close. He’s in a size 4 shoe and it barely fit. If your kiddo has a larger shoe size and is on the edge of the costume size, I’d size up.The quiver for the arrows really made this look definitively Robin Hood, and the belt worked pretty well! The material was light and had some flex, and I was so grateful to at we had this on Halloween. I had one very happy Robin Hood.

The costume looks awesome! I especially like the look of the “armor” on the arms. My son likes that it came with the quiver. Definitely runs on the smaller side of the 8-10 medium range. More like 7/8, but my son was still able to get it on, thankfully. Top is narrow/fitted—it was hard to get on but didn’t feel too tight once he had it on. Quality isn’t great. Already had a boot seam rip taking it off the first time. Easy to stitch but frustrating when you pay decent money for a costume.

This was not a well made product for the amount that we were charged. I would not recommend it to anyone else.

It was solid for a Halloween costume but wouldn’t put it in the category of “dress up” costume.

I brought this for my son who is a tall but slim 8 year old. The costume is as pictured (but without trousers, bow and arrows). It seems ok quality but for the price I would have expected better.My son is a slim, tall 8 year old - 133cms. It only just fits him. The cuffs do not do up despite his being slim, they are a good cm too small to do up. Thankfully the wrist cuffs cover this.The boot covers are quite tight around his legs and are a bit tricky to get on (again, he doesn't have chunky legs!)Conclusion, ok costume, a bit overpriced, comes up VERY small. If your child isn't very slim I would totally go for the next size up.

Extremely poor quality for the price. The "chain mail" effect area of the sleeves ripped when being put on. Also, the bottom of the shirt looks like the material on the bottom has been ripped to make the pattern. It is a shame as the design is nice. I ordered an 8-10 for my very skinny 8 year old and it only just fits him with a thin top underneath so size up. I will be surprised if it lasts a day. Personally, if you have time, make one yourself out of a cheap green hoody.

Bit of a last minute purchase for World Book DayArrived quickly and well packaged.Sizing is accurateLooked great and my son got plenty of positive comments.Would recommend

Very good outfit. Decent quality. Bought it for our 9 year old's school world book day and it looked good to be fair, he loved it. Not a bad price compared to others.

The costume was cut out and not stitched in some places. The belt was faulty and the boot covers fell apart when he put them on. Shame on you for selling such rubbish.
