Very good torch and ultra violet for searching for golf balls

Got this head torch to free up hands when looking for golf balls in the dark, the darker it is the better it works, does not have a wide spread of UV light, but it does cover a good distance. Only takes a few hours to charge and I have used it with no problems for 3 hours at a time on the golf course, highly recommend, I use it with a “Tammy” hat on and it’s not the lightest of lights but after a few minutes you forget it there.

I did read all the bad reviews, but decided to take the risk and buy the item anyway as there were no identical alternatives on Amazon (white LED + UV, all in one), and unfortunately got what I dreaded 1) Looks and feels like a very cheap knock off of something whatever a good quality product is 2) Charger is micro usb, which makes me think of how long ago it was actually made, but the funny part - there is a usb c cable in the box, which is obviously not very useful when a charger has micro usb entry 3) Says on the box - "do not keep batteries in charger when not in use", but comes packaged with batteries already in the charger. ..makes me think - how long in fact these batteries are in there.. is this a joke? 4) Although it says it's fairly waterproof - the cover, that supposedly protects batteries from elements, is very loose, so I wouldn't trust that statement either(fair to say - statements about the brightness and the rest didn't fully convince me either) 5) Finally - white LED light stopped working on the next day, and the torch began to behave erratically, before I even had a chance to test it outdoors, so I decided to return, as I started to be slightly concerned of how safe this product actually is.

Was good while it worked but now refuses to charge, emailed the company but no response, poor customer service. I chose this brand because I had previously had similar, this worked for about six years before giving up, I felt that I’d had my moneys worth. Really disappointed to now have a duff one and no option to communicate with seller.
