My go to for sourdough scoring details
This is a very fine, rice flour. I use it on the tops of my sourdough before scoring to help bring out the detail prior to baking. A little goes a long way. This size bag is the perfect size to keep in the cupboard and pull out when needed. I have also used it to line my Baskets before putting them in the refrigerator - works perfect there as well.

Good product. I love being able to get this by mail, nationwide!
I like Bob's Red Mill products. White rice flour is essential for some of my cooking projects, and I often can't find it in grocery stores. I have discovered that there are far less expensive brands available in some grocery stores, so I've given this only 4 stars instead of 5. That said, I was thrilled to be able to get this sent to me by mail within a few days. It arrived on time, in good shape, and in a sensibly sized recyclable packaging. Cooking projects no longer on hold! Minimal waste for a mailed product! Many thanks!

Great for cookies
Substituted for part of the wheat flour in cookies it gives a more crumbly texture and adds a slight grittiness. Perfect for shortbread and sugar cookies.

Great product
This is a game changer when making sourdough bread. Sprinkle a little on the counter to help prevent the dough from sticking to the counter. When used in a banneton your bread dough does not stick. A little bit goes a long way!
