Professional dog groomer here. I bought this per recommendation of my salon leader, and I have been very happy with it. I've had mine for about 8 months now and use it on a lot of -oodle breeds, even long double coated dogs (though in tandem with undercoat rake for latter). I bought the big pink version as well but I find I actually like the black baby K the best. No pins lost and they have kept their form with good stiffness. The handle is very comfortable. I also recommend this to clients who are serious about keeping their -oodle breeds on long side for maintenance in between haircuts. Great slicker brush!

Much like others have said, this brush transformed our grooming. My mini golden doodle actually dozes now as I groom him. Previously our sessions using a mid price slicker brush were the sort of tense and unpleasant experience a person might feel during a dentist visit. My only regret is not having bought this brush two years ago. I kept reading reviews and wondering if it could possibly be responsible, or logical, or beneficial to spend this kind of money on a brush, but it's worth every penny. The size works well on legs and body (on a mini golden doodle), and the pins are spaced wider than our previous brush which allows the pins to reach deeper into his coat, reduces pulling resistance, and doesn't fluff him up like a cotton ball. The specially rounded pin ends are easy to appreciate just by pressing a finger against the pins. Our previous brush always bothered my guy's skin, despite all efforts to avoid contact. This brush feels quite nice, while our other slicker brush felt like a bed of needles. Other brushes we'd used with plastic balls on the pin tips seemed to pull too much on the hair. This brush solves all the issues in one brilliant design. Even the handle is surprisingly ergonomic.

I got the small one, Baby K (black rubber one). - Solid material on the handle. - Gave it a test run on my 7 month old Samoyed, used it for the whole body (thing about how I groom, large brushes don't work well for us tldr.. I use shorter faster strokes). Bristles held perfectly. - Combed the outer fur really nicely, removed a lot of undercoat ("wool"). - The polished and rounded bristle tips do in fact make a HUGE difference compared to cheaper slicker brushes', my dog LOVED it (almost) instantly. He was clearly not feeling any scraping on his skin. I normally don't say this in general but, this IS a case where the higher price is definitely reflected in the quality.
