This clipper has a very nice feel in your hand. Not too loud and plenty powerful. It is a bit weighty so if you drop it on the floor you should expect it will probably break. The blades are easy to change. Sometimes the blade doesn’t sit perfectly flat when swapping to a different blade. This is because the motor head was in a different position when the blade was last swapped. It fixes itself the second you turn on the clippers. It gets a little warm when in use which is totally normal. They always have a quick and perfectly even cut which is exactly what I wanted. It has a very sturdy power cord which will likely last longer than any other part in these clippers. If you get the plastic comb guards only use them on the 000 blade head. The 000 blade is much smaller than the others and makes for a quick and painless swap for guard lengths. You can use the guards on other blade sizes but it will be a pain to get them off. But why would you even want to do that? These clippers can cut facial hair and head hair absolutely effortlessly. This seller is selling the 120v version which is the standard outlet in the USA. Not much else to say except use your damn lube haha

After years of throwing $30 a week away at the barber shop, my wife started cutting my hair as well as my two sons.Initially we used the $40-$50 clippers you can buy at Target or Walmart and they were fine - at first. Eventually, the cheap clipper blades dull and begin to pull your hair out, the plastic clipper heads break and the results suffer.We finally splurged on the Oster Model 10 clippers and I am so happy we did. The clippers are quieter, the heads cut consistently and the overall haircut is faster.You can tell by the weight and quality of construction that these clippers will last forever. They are truly commercial quality, producing the same results as my old barber's professional clippers.As with any quality piece of professional equipment, there is maintenance required such as lubricating heads and greasing fittings but the maintenance is minimal and worth the effort.If you are looking to achieve professional results at home and make a long-term investment in your clippers, I highly recommend the Oster Model 10.

Talk about a close cut (using 0 blade) with absolutely no pain. I tried everything to nick myself or create pain. Failed. Those cheap $40 clippers constantly gave me pain if I did not use them a certain way. Not only was the cut very close but it was quick. Just one pass is all it took. To address two issues I have heard: heat and noise. Yes, the clippers starting getting warm but that was after using them for the equivalent of two non-stop haircuts. Felt warm in my hand but not on my head. Not a problem to me. Noise. If you want hummingbird quite, this is not it. Nor is it ear popping loud. From barbershops I have gone to, the motor noise is normal. Comes down to how sensitive your ears are. All in all, this appears to be a winning clipper - will post again if my opinion changes.July 31, 2017 -- still working great. The heat issue is not an issue. Neither is the noise. Still love it. Use it every 3-5 days.

These are heavy duty and work well! Definitely, a wise purchase. Might prefer to have metal guides instead of plastic ones. Heats up and not light weight, yet has not been a problem.

We gave it four stars just due to the issue we had on receiving a brand-new unit Will update this review after the next one comes in***** small problem with the power switch on a brand-new unit received today These are a five star clipper ours came in today we ordered them new and the power switch did not work and was intimate after playing with it for a few minutes the power switched was working on and off we had to flick it on and off several several times.These are great clippers we tested them today but ours came in today and when they came in after plugging them in the wall they did not turn on we had to move the switch several times for five times and then they turned on and kept turning on and off so we had to do a return I don't understand why it did this Anyone else have a power switch problem ?Our feelings on this product. It feels nice in the hand to us it is not heavy (( to us this is a very light and nice unit )) it seems to be made really well the blades detach and attached very easily and are made really well like heavy duty it is a really good product I believe, definitely would recommend this one. We tried senior clippers and a few other brands but this one is the best over all the others. After trying many brands here on Amazon these truly are the best I have not tried anything better than this. If anything changes we will update this reviewWe have a video of the switch not working if you listen to the sound in the video you'll see the switch going on and off and then the unit working and not working We just have no way to post it currently sorry but will keep it***** Update 11th 2017 of feb we tried to buy two units and out of the three that were sent only one was good, the Power switch would turn on but the unit would not function you had to jiggle the switch back-and-forth several times and the unit will turn on also one of the units has a wrong motor sound. This is a really good piece of equipment we also used the 00000 blade for short near like baldness works great, The only problem is the units that they are selling have some issues. I'd rather pay a little bit of money and have a good new unit , these may be someone's return or something I don't know, wait for a different seller I don't know ... These clippers do it all. The size is convenient, slightly smaller than the Classic 76, but still a nice solid feel and weight. They cut like a Ferrari! The buzz is just fine, and maybe even less than you'd actually expect from this kind of power. The durability is outstanding. I've given about a dozen cuts and each one gets better.I bought the plastic spring snap on guides, which work fine for now until I collect the rest of the various blade sizes.I feel like these will last forever and will be the last set of clippers I ever have to buy. Do yourself and customer's a favor, spend the money for the quality, you'll understand and won't be sorry after using them.
