I really like this comb, I got the Charlene 245. I have thicker hair so I didn’t want to get the smaller one. But I think the smaller size down will be even more precise with parting hair. It divides my hair so well when making partings , whether my hair is wet and natural or straightened. (I’m not sure how well this comb will work for very curly/thicker hair.) It’s also way sturdier than the plastic/metal rat tail comb I was using for years prior. It’s also anti-static when combing through my entire head of hair. I haven’t tried using it with heat or while flat ironing my hair. The teeth of the comb are comfortable and not sharp. I’ve been using it daily for the last few weeks and it seems like it’s good purchase to add to my natural wood and boar bristle brushes.

Welp, this comb is an easy winner. I got this comb to replace a favorite plastic version of this same style of comb (my new haircare routine involves lanolin and the oils dissolve plastic), and though all I initially hoped was that the new bone comb would just meet/match how I felt about my longtime comb’s feel of use (parting, detangling, fine separation of strands), it has actually immediately surpassed my old comb! This comb creates notably way less static, especially down at my ends (long, fine hair) where my hair is drier and more prone to tangling with and without added static… and holycow this bone comb cuts what I can only describe as a “buttery” path!! Sold. It’s super sturdy too, and though I was prepared to send it back if (like other reviews mentioned) it was too “sharp” (I’ve had another plastic pick/comb before that had wicked sharp tines and was practically unusable as it scratched/scraped my scalp and actually caused more tangles)… this was NOT that. I love it. My long time plastic one is suddenly obsolete. Gratitude to the animal that helped bring this functional little treasure into existence!

I have been looking for a good comb for a while now to replace my 30 year old Lady Ace (which has many missing teeth). Lots of cheap combs out there but it's hard to find a good, sturdy comb. I really like this comb. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the teeth are very sharp....takes a little getting used to. Would buy again.

I love this comb! Not only is it beautiful, but it also feels incredibly sturdy. I bought it specifically to help tame those stubborn, frizzy baby hairs that never seem to stay down with gel or hairspray. With just a little water and a gentle twist, it gives me gorgeous, soft curls that frame my face perfectly. The brush feels smooth and comfortable to use, and I can tell it's built to last. I’m confident this comb will be a staple in my routine for a long time.

Nice quality comb, you can tell the bristles(?) won't break because they're very thick plastic. The only thing that's different about this comb than I was hoping is that the picture looks brown, but the comb is actually more of an intense orange. But who cares? It's still a good quality comb.

I didn’t think a comb could be luxurious but it is. Well-crafted, smooth teeth, no static. Perfect rat tail comb.
