All I use is the quarter inch scale. Works great for my purposes.

Perfect, just what my son needed for school

Corners were slightly sharp. I appreciate that there was some effort to make sure that they weren’t extremely pointed ends. However I did have to sand them down to make them more comfortable for my personal preference. Other than that it is a very quality scale and seems very durable. I would definitely recommend.

I've always got a scale in my desk even though most of my measuring is done with a roll-o-meter these days. Sometimes, you just need to be exact, and occasionally there is still the need to do some manual drafting. I love the "heft" of this product, it just feels good in my hand. And when I'm drafting I don't have to work about small nicks on the edge like I'd get with a plastic scale. Let's face it, if you're buying a scale, you know you're still going to be using the same one 10 years from now. Spend a little more money and get a product that you'll *love* owning!

I'm really pleased with the quality.

I carry this in the jobsite while reading scaled drawings. The aluminum body makes it perfect for use in this context because it can take a lot more scratches, beating and bending before breaking. I've tried using cheaper plastic scales but these always broke or the paint wore out quickly. The added weight also makes is a great paper holder when reading drawings outside.

Its a great sturdy ruler that has every scale that you need on the fly. It has some weight on it but not that much, just enough to have a nice feel to use it.

Had a plastic one for 25 years and lost it . Bought a metal one and couldn't be happier. Well made , very sturdy and precise. Love the weight of it.

Perfect product, I only wish they offered a metal one in metric as well. Strong and will last you the rest of your life.
