Cool tank!
This little fish tank is super cute and super easy to set up. I’ve always wanted a small wall mounted tank. I think that look very modern and fun. I wanted this one for my home office. I thought it was small enough not too take up too much space and it would be really nice for a betta fish. The tank arrived in perfect condition. It came with a pretty sturdy nail and a plastic picture hanger with six small nails. Although the nail seemed strong enough to hold the tank, I didn’t want to take a chance of it falling off the wall when it was filled with water so we used a an anchor to secure it to the wall. The anchor work’s great and the tank it very secure. I can take it off the wall to clean it when I need to. Once filled and I added my betta fish, I tried using the filter that was included but the water flow is far to strong for this small tank. I am currently using live water plants to help filter the water for my betta fish. I will say that the size is manageable however, it requires water changes more often, even for a single fish. I also purchased long water siphon that looks like a large turkey Baster. This has been a game changer in making water changes and quickly removing waste super easy. I also purchased a water heater for my betta fish to keep him at a comfortable temperature. I am pleased with this tank and I recommend it for a small fish or plants. It’s a very cute and unique decor piece.

Broke during shipping
looks like it would’ve been cute if it wasn’t broken upon arrival

With a little maintenance, this has some bang for the buck!
The media could not be loaded. Don't know if you can get a replacement pumps for these as I see many people having issues. I've had mine for 3 months now and, only because I like to keep things working instead of wading through shipping and red tape to replace things- here's some pump maintenance instructions that I came up with since it didn't come with any care instructions:1•The little clear plastic Phillip head screws with plastic nuts are easy to disassemble, usually with a small Phillip head and a pair of needle nose pliers. The USB cord comes out of tank back with a bit of coaxing through the hanging hole.2•Once you have the pump assembly off the tank, (*gently* but firmly), pull the outflow pipe off the side. The pump body should come out of the overflow body.3•At this step, there's 4 tiny Philip screws on the (bottom)intake plate with the intake pipe. Once you have those out and the intake plate removed, you can access the pump impeller.*Mine got hung up on some plant fiber gunk and had to be cleaned out. It started working after that. Been working ever since.*NOTE: These new pumps with plastic/rubber impellers are hard to kill, but easy to gum up.. It's basically an electro magnet with the impeller as the soft core. A little tinkering and a way to not lose the hardware(screws), and you can get most of them working again either by removing the obstruction or soaking the unit overnight in vinegar or CLR to remove hard water deposits(rinse with very hot water after a descaling to protect your fishies!)4•Reassemble with the steps in reverse.Hope this helps! A replacement unit would probably do the same thing, I really wish the intake pipe had smaller perforations so it didn't suck up chunky crap that stops the impeller. Been thinking about clear rubber bands to hold on a wrap of white angel hair filter material, but haven't tried it yet. The best in the meantime would be to avoid anything free floating that can get sucked into it during operation.

Try this if pump doesn’t work…
Unscrew the pump from tank, take a bowl of water and place the motor in it that it is dipped fully, turn on the motor (can be dipped in the tank as well I guess). Screw it back without making it empty, it just needs a little suction to keep working.

How to start the filter
I am seeing a lot of comments about the filter not working from day one.... anyone with aquarium experience knows you have to prime the pump to create suction. It was a little difficult for me to get this going due to the shape of the tank but I used a small squirt bottle to force the water flow into the tank. The motor was buzzing so I know it was operational just needed a little help. After a few squirts it works great! Also seeing a lot of comment about the tank size... yes, it is small, but small fish and Betas will live just fine in this amount of water. The line indicator is the minimum level and holds well over a gallon if filled to below the output rim. There are many Beta tanks in particular, that are this small. Having a filter is an added bonus to allow longer time between tank cleaning. And yes, you are going to need to add filter material such as a screen and carbon. It is not included... but most tanks take added items to complete assembly and this is a pretty basic package. Doesn't come with a light.... heater.... but it can be added. Now that the filter is going with fresh treated water, I can't wait to add the fish! *Also Not Included*

Overpriced for the quality
Stylish..great conceptually!! The filter screws fell off when I received them. But I was able to put it back up with no issues. Not the best plastic quality but ok I guess. I love how if looks on the wall. Not unhappy with the buy.

This is just too small for any fish to live in, even a Betta.
There is very little space, I bought a baby Betta fish to put in there and he quickly became sick being in there. I had to take him out and unfortunately he didn't make it. I've kept fish for a long time so I should've known better than to put a fish in here but it's just a cool idea.
