Great value
All detectors came individually boxed and with replacement wall plates and batteries. Installed easily and tested fine. A great value over buying individually.

These alarms are easy to install, the battery last for years and the AC plug is same as my old alarm units. The performance is easy to use. The indicator light is good and let you know if it is connected to AC power

These were perfect replacements for older alarms. Easy to install and to replace batteries. I'd buy them again.

Great replacement
I had to do some research and the plug is different. But very easy to change the plug. I did mess up the first one. Basically the twist caps should be holding wires together. No need to adjust anything, so very easy to install. The four pack was the best pricing since I needed 3.

I read all the reviews and decided to go with Kidde
We had three firemen answer our alarm call thinking it was are alarm but it turned out to be our fire alarms! They said one of the alarms was bad and it started a relay between all the alarms…they said to replace our Kidde alarm!

Easy to replace
I had 9 old FireX smoke detectors from 1999 to replace. Purchased the Kidde smoke detectors along with the Kidde KA-F adapters so I didn't have to shutoff the power and rewire for the new connector. It's a tight fit in the electrical box but so would three additional wire nuts if I had to rewire. Took about 5 minutes to replace each one. Easy as pie. Should have done it years ago.
