Solid headboard well made and easy to assemble

Those diagonal screws drive the doweled pieces apart. The many dowels are pretty much worthless. This was the worse assembly job I've ever done. I think the only thing holding it together is the thin backboard with its 22 nails that have to be hammered into narrow board edges.The finish is pretty. All the pieces fit well, if they were only easier to put together.

Nice sturdy piece of furniture. Only complaint is that my son is always knocking out the middle shelf.

I was disappointed to discover that this headboard is really made for a bed that goes with it. I wanna do it for a full bed that I already had. It's working but it's not perfect
