I’ve always had a belt clip/holster since the early ‘00s for my phones. Most included a kickstand so I got used to it. I couldn’t find a nice case that had a kickstand for my iPhone 13. This is a great substitute. The magnet / MagSafe feature works surprisingly well. The recessed ring allows you to use car mounts and pop up/poplock accessories.I haven’t gotten wireless car chargers to work because the phone doesn’t lay flat. I haven’t tried magnetic car charger mounts, but the metal is pretty thick and the charger probably wouldn’t work. It is easy enough to snap off by hand if you want to be flexible, but not easy enough where you lose it.Kickstand it metal, as is the pin and pivot mechanism. Great product and I’m happy with it.I feel I must mention that if you won’t use a bumper case, you’ll scratch the hell out of your phone.

Up until recently I had been using the Metisinno magsafe phone grip, which was basically an upgrade over the Anker version because the finger loop actually spun around. However I lost it, saw this new ring holder, and decided to try it out. This thing is awesome and super versatile because I can be laying on my side with this propped up and not have it fall (like it always did with the Metisinno phone grip as a kickstand) or I can be at the dining table with my kids, using the full tripod to Facetime with my parents with the perfect viewing angle.The only disadvantage that these types of phone grips have is that it's not quite comfortable to hold the usual way--which Pop Sockets does well. But I've gotten around that by extending the kickstand all the way and just holding my phone like a little picket sign.This thing is so good my wife needed to have one too!

I love this phone stand/holder. I used to have the little round stick on holders for my phone but they would eventually get worn and break leaving me to feel uncomfortable holding my giant iphone 12 pro max since I have small hands. This holder sticks on pretty secure to the back of my magsafe otterbox case with ease. I regularly hold my phone using just the holder and have no fear of it falling off. I do however, suggest that you either purchase a magsafe otterbox or apple magsafe case to ensure this will stay.

I got this as a pop socket alternative and to use as a phone stand while watching YouTube and stuff. Everything about it works as expected but it does add significant weight to my phone. It didn't really work as a pop socket for one handed phone usage. But as a phone stand for watching stuff laying in bed it is great. I lay on my side and prop the phone up sideways too and it's great for that.

The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because it is so heavy. It may actually cause some discomfort to use at first.

Very strong magnet! Very versatile, love how many different ways you can set up the stand. But, it's very heavy, adds too much weight to my phone.

This phone holder works with the mag-safe cases, which is why’ve bought it (after having a pop socket for years!) I love how easily it folds, bends, makes your phone do whatever you need it to do (horizontal, vertical, etc). The two joints were very still, which allowed the phone to stay out no matter what shape I contorted it into… BUT, one of the joints got loose all of a sudden, and it doesn’t work like it used to. Probably because of my incessant fidgeting habit. Makes me want to buy another one, because I liked it so much!

So I've had this 6 months, and now the small oval that attaches to the magnet has loosened up. For the price, I had hoped it would at least last one full year. It is versatile with the number of ways to adjust for viewing but any time I drop my phone, the magnet flies off - even when the phone lands face down. My UAG magnetic case saves my phone well though, thank goodness!

Einleitung:Geflucht habe ich, nicht über dieses MagSafe Magnet (mehr ist es ja genau genommen nicht) sondern über das DJO Osmo Mobile 4 Gimbal. Dieses kann das Handy magnetisch halten zumindest wenn man einen kleinen Ring auf das Telefon oder die Hülle klebt - geht nur leider beim iPhone 12 nicht wirklich.Am Telefon selbst verliert man dadurch die MagSafe-Fähigkeit und selbst wenn einem das egal sein sollte kommt es sehr häufig Fehlermeldungen in der Software oder der Gimbal nickt ständig auf und ab.Mit Halteklammer direkt am Gerät geht es auch nicht wirklich weil das iPhone kantig und nicht abgerundet ist.Kurzum: geht nicht wirklich sauber und schön.Bis ich auf diese MagSafe kompatible Platte gestoßen bin.Die Platte hält magnetisch ganz wunderbar und stark genug am iPhone. Ohne Abdrücke, Kratzer etc.An der Platte befestigt habe ich den Halterungsring vom Gimbal (per mitgelieferten Klebeplättchen).Alles passt so ganz hervorragend zusammen.Die MagSafe Platte kann am Gimbal bleiben (hält dort ebenfalls bombenfest) und das iPhone flutscht einfach nur so dran und kann ohne Probleme wieder entfernt werden.Klasse!
