Love this OOLONG!
I am so happy w this brand of tea. It is fresh, well priced, good quantity and the tea tin is so cool. It reseals great to keep your tea dry. This Oolong is also known as BIG RED ROBE and is the perfect balance between green and black tea.Follow the brewing directions watching your temp and time and you will have the perfect cup of tea. If you go over it is not the end of the world.I usually rebrew my grounds up to 3x.I have tried many brands and find it hard to beat this one at this price. I would like to try some of the very, very expensive ones someday but will keep purchasing this on as my goto brand!

Suggestion to Tao of Tea vender.
This is oxidized to almost a black tea. I only enjoy sweet green oolong tea ( less oxidized) . I used to live in Portland , Oregon, and would stop in to buy Tao tea once in a while. So... I’ll make a suggestion to the owner of Tao... take a photo of the tea leaves on a pure white surface .. this will really help the consumer make a more accurate choice. When I visited your store in the past , I’d often leave without making a purchase because I couldn’t view the characteristics of your specific “ tea in a tin “ . It’s essential to be able to view the leaves. Tea enthusiasts can spot the tea they like by sight, and smell if purchased in person. All in all, when I did risk a purchase, the tea has always been good. So I’ll give you three stars only because of the green leaves that are displayed on the tea tin. ... which , there are no green leaves in it.

great tea
Very flavorful, glad that it's organic. There is a lot of product here, so it will last a long time. I'm not one to do "re-infusions", that is using the bag over again, and this container will still last me for a long time. My only complaint is the packaging. It does come in a cool semi-tin container, but after you get the initial top off, there is a second lid with a small knob in the center to pull the lid off. I had the darnest time trying to get that lid off and actually ripped the knob out of the lid. I thought wonderful, how am I going to get that lid off now? I finally figured out how to slip my fingernails along the side of the lid and pry it off that way. But I would still highly recommend this tea.

Ideal Iced Tea.
This is the best oolong tea to use to make iced tea. Just brew a cup, pour it over ice, and you have the ideal summer drink. I am always on the hunt for quality tea. I have had other oolongs this company makes, and other loose leafs by other companies, but this tops it. It is a balanced flavor that has a slight sweetness to it and not a lot of caffeine, which allows me to drink copious amounts without getting the jitters. I prefer to mix this with a white tea to give it more sweetness and less caffeine so that I can drink it at night too.

Good value on a decent oolong.
Nice, slightly roasty flavor I like in a Wuyi oolong. Subtly sweet, almost grain like. There are a fair number of very broken leaves toward the bottom, though. That said, at this price point it's still a good value. I've had better Wuyi, but also paid more for less tea. Good for at least 2-3 infusions- don't toss the leaves after the first steeping!

I am not an expert but I do enjoy a very fine Oolong every Saturday at a local Chinese Restaurant we visit for the last 30 years.Their Oolong is very nice. The Tao of Tea received recently is surprisingly very good. As I said I am not an expert but not what tastes good to me and this certainly has been very acceptable so far. The metal tin with the inner Knob lid is great and I will explore the rest of their items because of the excellent packaging..

Great Packaging, Great Brand, Satisfactory Tea
Overall, I have been extremely impressed with The Tao of Tea. My sister purchased these for me for Christmas. They are a wonderful nighttime drink. The caffeine content is negligible, so it doesn't really keep me up at all. The oolong, however, is a little disappointing. The flavor is described as cocoa, but it's really just kind of bitter, brown water. I love tea, so I don't think that's a "hater's" review. I am just honestly unimpressed with this particular tea. I've had better oolong. Nevertheless, the container is absolutely awesome. It seals itself really nice, such that I actually broke the knob off the top of one when trying to pull it off. I just use the blunt edge of a knife to pop it off, no biggie. The packaging is still top-notch.
