H&N Baracuda FT .177 Cal. Round Nose Pellets

Good slugs! if you want stopping power this is a good option. Not so great for penetration (get copper tipped diabolos for that or red tips) still cracks through plywood no problem

As a qualifier, I have been shooting springer air rifles for 3+ years now. I enjoy shooting at the optimal range of these guns which is 50 yds., give or take. Some of the rifles I own are Air Arms tx200 mkIII, .177,Weihrauch hw77, .177, Diana 54 air king pro., .177, and a Diana 48, .22. All high performance and accurate rifles. I’m certainly not a great shot, I don’t compete, but I’m not bad either. I can regularly put 50% of 15 shots in a 1” bull at that range and I’m 77 years old. Mind you I shoot sitting and off a bench, not free hand. I shoot best with H&N pellets, the ftt’s among them. I don’t shoot as well with any other brand except JSB’s which, for me, would be my second choice. Lots of people swear by JSB pellets but I prefer H&N. A lot depends on the shooter and the kind of gun you shoot. So have fun and shoot safe.

Shipped and arrived quickly, no issues whatsoever. Slugs ran perfectly in our break-barrel rifle after adjusting for the weight of the slugs versus the lighter weight of pellets we normally run. I would highly recommend these and they'll work ever better in an actual PCP rifle. For break-barrels, they will slightly be pushing the limits of it's strength and power output.

I would have gave a five-star review due to packaging. I gave it four stars. Only because it was rolling around loose in a big box with other products. It made every pellet have little dents. To some that's not a big deal. However I shoot long distance. They still grouped well not as good as if they were shipped better

This is the only Brand I use for my air guns. I got Benjamin Vaporizer NP .22 1100fps and Benjamin Durango .22 950fps. Both of my guns love these pallets. This is the first time trying the slugs 23grain .217cal 5.51mm at 25-30 yards, pallets fit just perfect, and results are amazing. I was shooting standing on my feet cause if I set down I probably hit a dime groups no problem. My recommendation, use .22 cal 1100fps for better results.

I tried these out and compared them to some crossman hollow points, the shoot lowe(which is expected due to the heavier weight) but I got mi gun zeroed for them that not only are they accurate but also delivered a good punch, but someone messed the packing at some point because I got 1 of them that seems to be a bigger caliber( the one on the center) xd no big deal, but it's the first time it's happened to me

These are very uniform and consistent pellet to pellet. These are on the heavier side so not recommended in lower power air rifles. Use for hunting, overkill for plinking.
