Very good replacement for whip type antennas
On my 1994 Toyota 4runner the antenna is an about 2.5 feet long steel rod, great to hit every garage door overhang and branches and trees anytime off road. I bought a 13" same style antenna, looked great compared, but the range for the HD radio wasn't great. Bought this 17" version, still looks so much better than the factory whip, and the reception is almost the same if not the same. Easy to install is subjective, I turn a wrench often so this was about a 5 minute install. Comes with multiple adapters for all the different types of mounting brackets, I used some loctight red on the adapter to the antenna, and loctight blue on the antenna to the 4runner in case I ever want to remove it. I would buy it again, good size and reception. Can't comment on "car wash proof" as many others do, I don't use commercial car washes. Excellent product, would purchase again.

Not great reception
I bought this due to the design features and thinking it was an upgrade over the traditional tall metal antenna that I had (but that was stolen). This new antenna looks good, is flexible, and is easy to install BUT gets poorer reception in areas of the City where before I had good reception. I will need to get a new antenna to replace this one due to the lower reception quality.

Did not fit - beware!
Bought this antenna to fit my Toyota FJ Cruiser (Base) 2010. None of the five supplied adapters worked (but the webpage said it definitely would fit my car).I shall have to return it.

Works and Looks Great on the Jeep TJ
My biggest concern was the reception. I live 100 miles from Dallas/Ft Worth and was hoping it would be clear. The reception is great. I bought the 15' for the jeep wrangler because it sits on the side of the jeep and I thought it might need a longer antenna to receive good reception. Easy to install. The only issue is that none of the threaded parts really fit snug; it could be the jeep because it is 20 years old. I used the best one and tighten it down. I will also use some loctite to ensure it does not come loose.
