Pro Elec PEL00577 Rewireable IEC C14 mains Plug, Black

I needed this to convert a standard switched extension lead to connect into my UPS back up male IPC connection for items that required a 3 pin standard plug. Nice solid connections, snug fit. Connects without issue into the UPS. My only gripe is it is cheaper elsewhere. I can not down rate the product too much as it does what it is meant to do. The wire connectors and screws are quite stiff so it is a good idea to unscrew and move everything about a bit. When you install the wires make sure you cut them too a short length as there is not a lot of room for extra wire. This makes the earth connection challenging to get in. It's been a while since I wired a plug though!

Perfect for intended use

I ordered 4 but only two showed up. Contacted seller through Amazon but they are not even replying to me. The connector itself is fine, it has the screw type terminals inside and is well made. If they had sent the correct amount, or even got back to me when I informed them of the error in amount delivered, I would have given this a higher rating. But as it is, I paid for four and only got two and the seller won’t reply to my communications.Update: they eventually responded and have sent the remaining 2. It seems it was a mistake, they have made it right.The connectors are of good quality.

Good quality plugs which fit securely into the socket

I've always hated making up extension leads for UPS connectivity, principally because it is so difficult to trap all of the strands in a conductor under the clamp screw. These are different - all nicely contained, just screw down to make perfect contact.
