Learning Language is Child's Play with Your Baby Can Speak! Spanish. Children have a natural window of opportunity for learning a second language and multiple languages can be learned at the same time. Each program includes a live-action DVD, animated DVD, and 2 CDs with bilingual sing along songs and lyrics. Plus an activity book with slickers! It's fun, interactive learning experience for the whole family! Great for on the go!

Delightful!
This is a fun way to learn a foriegn language. I cannot yet attest to the effectiveness due to the fact that I really do not know if my 3 year old grandson is utilizing it; but I have viewed the first DVD of the French, German, and Spainish DVDs. The format is the same for all of them; delightfully catagorized into familiar subjects such as the city, farm, transportation, days of the week, counting etc. the later DVDs in the packet teach whole sentences. Personally, I would recommend this for adults before they attempt a Pimbsler or Rosetta.

Very basic but worth the costs
This is my least favorite of all the Your Baby Can products. We own every single one. My 2.5 year old likes the video but this is very basic. Shows a cartoon of the word and repeats it 3x. The cartoons are average - nothing special. The couting portion is my least favorite portion. Basically it counts actions and sounds - hmm. I am not sure what other Spanish DVDs are out there for toddlers. I think this is worth the money but could use improvments and is substandard to the others by this company.

Doubtful
Well, my mom purchased this for my son as a Christmas gift this year because next year my son is going to a language school Pre-K. I thought it was going to be similar to "Your Baby Can Read" that we bought him at 5 months old (because he can read and understand) but it was no where near close to it. It start off with animals, store, equipment, etc. It does not teach your child the basics like: Hi, Bye, Thank you, Please, Sit, Friends, etc. I was expecting more. Which Dora does a way better job at it.... Now I am going to have to find and purchase a more basic Spanish beginner dvd for my 3 year old son. This DVD is more for toddlers or children that already know the basic stuff just need more education with the things around them. This DVD also do not do both English then Spanish for example: Cat, El Gato, Cat, El Gato. It just shows a picture of the cat and states El Gato. So if it was not for my son learning from "Your Baby Can Read" and knowing and reading cat he probably would be confused. This is a straight Spanish DVD not English to Spanish.I only been playing the DVD for 2 days now, I try an hour a day like I did with "Your Baby Can Read" and "Your Child Can Read". Those two DVDs Rock, hopefully I can get my mom's money worth with this one too. If not I will purchasing a different brand
