This was something my son really enjoyed. It didn't take long to do it but he definitely had fun for the few minutes. He still plays with it to this Dat and he is 10. We got him several other since this one because he had so much dun opening the things.

If you need some quiet this will help
I was dealing with a migraine and needed something to entertain my 6 year old quietly. I remembered I had one of these laying around so set it up and he sat there happy as a clam mostly quiet(until he found something and there there was excitement lol) for just over an hour!I only soaked it for about 20 mins or was it only 10? Just long enough to soften the outside to make it seem easy and then he had to work at it after that.I will say have a baking sheet or something that can help contain the mess(you want the sides) as there is a lot of dust/mess and having thought to do that it saved me a load of cleaning up!Will definitely be keeping these around for those times where I need a moment, or need him entertained while Indo chores etc.
